The Kerry, Edwards team is not going to concede the election just yet. Just heard them on Fox News.

Oh my, a difference of 120.000 votes, and still Kerry won't give up. That's quiet a difference situation then 4 years ago when Florida got a 537 difference.

This really makes Kerry a sore loser.

CNN is calling Ohio too close to call (because of provisional and absentee ballots, which could be up to 600,000), and have given Hawaii, Michigan and Minnesota to Kerry, making it 249 - 242 Bush.

In other news the people of California have OKed $3 billion dollars for stem cell research. They really are against Bush's effective ban on stem cell research and are willing to fund this research for the good of humanity.

We also decided to create a DNA data base for all convicted felons, mandated that more tax money be kept in the cities & counties instead of the state house, voted against legalizing gambling, allowed new bonds for building new hospitals, and best of all we voted for limiting frivolous lawsuits.

Still to close to call is the proposition requiring all employers with 15 or more employees to give their workers health insurance, changing the three strikes law so that it only applies to violent offenders, and a law which would allow open primaries for all parties. I voted for all three of those and I hope they pass.

That rocks. The Biotech and Pharma industry in California is very strong, and hopefully will continue to be because of bill such as these

I wouldn't call Kerry a sore loser yet. Once we have an idea of how many of these provisional ballots there are, and it becomes clear that he can't win, he should concede.

If he tries to drag this on for a month like Gore, it's another story.

How many ballots would there have to be for him to stand more than a snowball's chance in hell of overcoming a 100,000 vote deficit?

Not so much.

There are:

A) at least 175,000 provisional ballots
B) probably 300,000
C) as many as 600,000.

If 2/3 of them are democratic votes Kerry has A) lost, B) faint hope or C) a pretty good chance.

We shall see.

Of course he doesn't have a snowball's chance of hell. But it's not as if he's dragging it out for months. We don't even know the EC tally yet. Several states are still in the air.

The guys on CNN said the prov ballots in Ohio won't be counted for 11 days, unless I misunderstood something.
