And why is Intel making socks. They're a computer company, not a clothing company.

Well I guess we can toss D.C. in there too. My mom says one of my aunts would love to help me out.

Just a quick question, I know you say no to where I currently live because of weather, and many of the things Ive mentioned about it, but why no to NM?

However, if you have the chance to move to DC, do it. It's one of the most important cities in the world and offers a lot, from politics to culture to atheletics (Redskins, Wizards, the new baseball team). Not too far from Philly, Baltimore, Williamsburg - you could make an easy day trip to any of those cities. Quality colleges and the potential for connections.
With DC added in, this decision becomes a no-brainer. Just make sure that you have access to quality air-conditioning - make sure that it works, and works well, in whatever apartment you'll be living in.
And let's face it: DC is a place where people go to do things, to get noticed, to make their mark in the world. Alaska is a place where people go to hunker down, to hide, to lick their wounds from a life ill-lived. Great things happen in DC, they don't in Alaska.
