Like I said in the other poll, no, there won't be anything more that token efforts in this direction, because the republican party needs to hold the affinity in the socially conservative religious poor. If the Republicans ever give them what they want there might be a major loss of influence over this group, a large portion of whom either receive no beneift or are actually harmed by the Republican economic agenda.

Most socially conservative religious people get really very, very, very little out of tax breaks for the rich. They could use some assistance with their healthcare. Their moms and dads could use a little more than token assistance with drug costs.
