Turn report and save. Two turns for you to discuss, before I move forward. If you let me stay as your Emperor.
Please, do not post here. For discussions go here.
350BC
3 Legions sent towards Massilia, 2 legions sent towards La tene (closest Celtic cities).
5 Legions to Sicily for a fast sweep.
No war declared yet. If we're lucky, they might do it for us.
Aquilea built at Padua 44.
Genua built at Neapolis 333.
Confinium built at Neapolis 998 (it is much better than Rome 66 or Rome 669 and could be settled straight away).
Citizen moved to settle at Padua 888 next turn.
All cities building either Legions or Workers.
One exception - Rome builds a Temple.
Tried to maximize growth, but most cities will be there in 2 turns. Only Padua can and will make it in 1 turn.
Sold Mathematics around.
Sold Alphabet to the Celts for Territory Map. Don't like attacking blind.
We now have two luxuries and 1130 gold.
Lux slider set to 10% (only because of Roma, so far).
Science slider set to 90%. Tactics in 7 turns at -37 gpt.
ROP with Egypt signed. Costs nothing to be nice to the underdog.
345BC
Legion kills barbarian in the Alps, discovers a barb camp.
Another Legion discovers a second camp in the Alps on it's way to the Celts.
Archer sent to scout around the northern Macedonian borders.
4 Legions arrive in Messana (Sicily).
Segusio built at Padua 888, starts Barracks.
AIs started numerous wonders.
340BC - the save attached is at the beginning of the turn, for you to take a look. Any comments go here.

Now I see. I was still thinking we had the period divided in two, sorry.
Anyway, here's the rest. I won't be stating all Workers and Legions built - there were many.
340BC
Declare war on Carthage by attacking and killing a Numidian with a Legion on Sicily (he went out of a city, don't know why). Golden Age started.
5 Legions put in place to attack Marsala (Carthaginian) next turn.
4 Legions positioned to enter Celtic territory next turn, further Legions advancing through the Alps.
Because of growth and the Golden Age, Tactics will be ready in 3 turns.
335BC
Declare war on Celts. Legions enter Celtic territory.
Attack Marsala. 2 Legions lost against 2 Spearmen, 1 Legion promoted from Regular to Veteran. Marsala taken from the Carthaginians.
Capture 2 Carthaginian Workers near Marsala.
Roma starts Temple of Artemis.
330BC
2 Roman Galleys attack one Carthaginian Galley near Marsala. We lose one, they lose one. The remaining Galley is promoted to Veteran.
3 Roman Legions attack Massilia. 2 Spearmen
and 1 Archer killed. 1 Legion promoted to Elite. Massilia taken from the Celts.
Legions moving in on Syracuse (Carthaginian).
Legions moving in on La Tene (Celtic).
1006 gold in treasury.
Lux slider at 20% because of Pisae (Legion went away to fight - not enough MP).
Science slider at 80%, Tactics (and Legion II) in 1 turn at -5gpt.
325BC
Tactics discovered.
Emperor Modo I gives over to his successor.
Since now I can post the save in the apropriate thread, here's a view of the empire after the reign of Modo I. I will explain some of the builds in the Roman strategy thread.
