The unit that is 2nd from the left on the top row needs to be mirrored to match the rest.

All units in ToT must face to the right, for the graphic to display properly.

It involves masking the unit in question and flipping it hozirontally.

I will make the changes if thou wishes!

Suffering from ads?

Thanks a lot, Curt! I really appreciate the help! BTW, do either you or fairline object to me using the AA-gun and transport graphics from Dictator, now that it's all but released? I'm otherwise stuck with renovated Nemo's for those units.

If you can wait until Dictator is fully released, you can use the AA...

But at the moment, the transport ship is yours, if you need it.

I probably won't be done these F-ing events until Dictator's fully released, plus I'm currently in the process turning all Thai cities to Japanese, giving Japan Thai Infantry, and eliminating the separate Thai player altogether (AGRICOLA was right, as an able ally, they screw up supply lines and movement in Southeast Asia and eventually Southern China, but with their units knocked to 0 Move, they're useless, so I'll just have Japan annex them).

What factions do you have in the scenario at the moment?

Currently, I have the Soviets, Japanese, Dutch, Americans (including Canadians and Australians), British/Indians, and Chinese, with the Barbarians being the Communist Chinese and Neutrals. I had thought that six players should be sufficient. Any thoughts?

Assuming that the scen is playable only as Japan, the only other civ that really matters until early to mid 1945 is the US. The Dutch are eliminated very quickly and, excepting the US, the rest are minor players for most of the scen. I cannot think of any additional civ which would make sense in either game or historical terms.

IMHO, the emphasis should be on making the Soviet, Chinese and British/Indian defences strong enough to withstand anything short of an all-out Japanese attack and the US powerful enough to first limit Japanese expansion and then to counterattack. The Chinese Communists are potentially a great wild card if you can manage to get them to disrupt whatever the Japanese are doing in China.

I would agree with Agricola...Making the commies a civ might interesting...

But adding the Australians would be good too...

I too agree with AGRICOLA. Problem, Curt, with making either the Communist Chinese or Australians as a civ is that the Red Chinese held no big cities in that day, and a civ of small cities would likely quickly fall, and I need US-Australian cooperation, including their units occupying the same spaces, in the Solomons.

Support Apolyton or Terrorists Win

Now here's a good question I need advice on. I've reached the point in events where B-29's need to be generated for the US. My current main reference source on events in the Pacific Theatre gives their bombing runs interms of number of aircraft, not squadrons or wings. Roughly how many B-29's should be in a non-atomic unit?

Perhaps keeping things streamlined may be a good idea then.

You could give a few cities to some minor Allied faction for variety,
but it may be better to keep thing flowing with less civs?

Less lag between turns?

Another question, if I may. What does it mean in a batch file when it says 'Events header not found?' Whatever it is, it stops and events.txt from working, or so it seems. What is this error, and how do I fix it?
