I was suggesting that Kashmir's future be handed over to the people of Kashmir in accordance with the agreements of '48, '66 and '72 that you are also party to. I think a 2005 war between India and Pakistan is likely to be as indecisive on this issue as the wars of '47, '65 and '71 have been.

In light of the slow progress on the ISS, France would like to assist by building componets for the Russian delivery vehicles. We also hope that this additional commitment will get some French pilots and scientists onto these missions.

We hope that all members of the European Space Agency and the nations contributing to the International Space Station will come together for the final push to compleate the station on schedule despite recent slow downs.

As far as nukes, they do exist, but I dont think I will let any player controll nations use them at will. NPC nations that have nukes and get attack may use them, and then if you are the one getting nuked or about to be nuked then you can respond in kind. I think that way we can avoid people going out of controll with nukes and we can still have fun with it.

Ive read other NESes where nukes have utterly crippled games, and that's why I like to avoid them.

CNN Yearly News Update

Year 2007


Now for the top national news stories.

(United States)

In February of 2006 the people of the United States and the rest of world was stocked when CNN broke this story. The storied outlined out the President of the United States planed to transform the very society of the US into his vision. The story outlined everything from taking children from parents when the government thought that they would be good soldiers and trained to be soldiers all their lives. Anther part of the plan was to make it illegal for any person in the United States to be unemployed and if they are unemployed to be deported from the United States.

But this was only part of the story. In the coming months it was discovered that the President tried to what can only be described as a take over of the entire American media.
The President tried to have people under his control take high positions in almost all media outlets, included was CNN.

After the story broke the House quickly impeached President JUAN Kerry, and the Senate voted to remove the President from office. But JUAN Kerry and his administration would not go peacefully from Office. Now we find ourselves in all out civil war. The former President found some Generals in the Army and Air Force that were loyal to his cause and were able to take over several northern States. Now the United States finds it self torn apart once again. The New capital of the United States was moved to Dallas, Texas. The Remaining States that have not fallen to JUAN Kerry forces elected Colin Powell as the new President of the United States.

Of course the effects of this revolution has not only been felt in the United States, but all over the world. As a result of the US civil war, a global depression the likes of which make the Great depression in the 1920¡¦s look like a recession. All economic growth world wide has stopped or the economy has actually experienced negative growth.


Now to our International News.

Russia

The dispute in the election is over and now President Tassadar was elected the New President of the Russian Federation in the revote that was held in early 2006. President Tassadar has increased funding to the military and has brought a new respect for the Russian Military and nation. Moral among the Russian army has risen to all time highs. Russia has also taken actions to try to make sure that the US civil war does not effect Russian government services.

Europe

Despite the moves made by the governments of Europe to protect the economy their from the effects of the Civil War in the United States, their economies have felt the Global down turn just as much as any other nation. In the streets scenes reminiscent of stock brokers that lost everything in the stock market in the 1920¡¦s trying to sell apples on the corner, Men wonder the streets begging for money or trying to sell fruit to people on the street. The unemployment rate has already sky rocketed to an all time High of 29%.

India to US: We'd like to follow Autrlias fine example and open our perverbial doors to those who wish it. We are looking to hire those skilled in the arts of war, both tactical and otherwise, and those skilled in production and tecnological innovations. Of course, we'd pay your way and offer a fixed, yearly salery if you choose to work for our government. That salery can only go up as you achive feats.

India oreders: Continue to train troops, and form them into the IPC (Indian Protection Corp). Also, try and conrolo the religious masses' anger and rioting. We encourage the Dali Lama to spead his message of peace in India so that they may be no furhter bloodshed. Continue talks with Kashmir, and send diplomats to Pkaistan to attempt tp fain a peaceful sollution to the Kashmir issue.
