Kid quote: I'm sure you would like to benefit even more. That would only increase your responsibility for the actions of the govt. Follow the money. |
I'd rather the money stay in my pocket instead of paying for wars in the ME that end up getting Americans killed. Claiming that my participation in an economy other people are stealing from "legally" makes me guilty for their behavior elsewhere is illogical.
NYE quote: In short, I would say 'scum' would apply more to appologists for murderers. So have a good look in the mirror. |
Me too, where did I apologise for McVeigh. According to you I think he's a hero or something. I asked you before for the quote and what I got was "pfft". Yup, you accused me of supporting or apolgising for terrorists and when I asked for a quote "pfft" was what you came up with. Scum...
You must have seen how lame that was because you then went searching for a quote you could twist around. Why? Because you are scum...
Here is what you found:
quote: Because Tim McVeigh blew that building up because of injustices he saw...injustices millions saw or learned about. He wasn't a loon, he was mad as hell at the government. |
This was your proof I supported McVeigh. What part of that is false? He was a loon? Maybe, but we do know he was mad as hell at the government and what happened at Waco and Ruby Ridge is what motivated him. Millions of Americans were mad as hell. He just went over the line, the rest of us didn't. Pointing out cause and effect is not the same as justifying either or both...
Oh, one more thing, you were accusing me of apologising for McVeigh BEFORE I said that. So find an earlier quote, scum.
Then you topped it all off with this piece of BS:
quote: Relax, Berz. I was looking for a fight and you gave it to me. Have to grant that you are a game duck.
I do think you are looking a little hard for justifications for something I find unjustifiable though. In the mean time, it seems I have an opportunity to Canuck the thread, so thanks. |

Kid quote: You wouldn't have any money in your pocket if it wasn't for the govt. Who do you think prints it? All of this crap about them stealing from you is illogical. You make off like a bandit. |
Money is just the medium we use for value, if there was no government printing paper we'd be using something else - like gold, silver, whatever. But we're getting off the subject, politicians use the threat of force to interfere in the marketplace to obtain money. That makes my mugger analogy valid. Why are we to blame for how they spend the money they take from us?
NYE quote: You really have a fire in your panties, don't you? |
Your lack of character is beyond my control so there's not much I can do about it other than defend myself from your bs.
quote: Because Adolf Hitler invaded that country because of injustices he saw...injustices millions saw or learned about. He wasn't a loon, he was mad as hell at the treaty of Versailles |
But that isn't why he invaded other countries. So your argument doesn't help identify cause and effect.
quote: What do you make of that, Berz? Would you think you were reading excuses for the inexcusable? |
Nope, I'd look at the context before jumping to conclusions - you jump first and then look for "proof" to justify the leap. If we are discussing the cause and effect that led to Hitler we may cite the Treaty of Versailles.
quote: How does being mad at A justify or excuse murdering B and C through Z? |
It doesn't. Where did I say otherwise? "Pfft"?
quote: I'm really curious. It seems that many terrorists would love it if people 'understood' their need to murder for their cause. Oops, I guess they already have you. |
If understanding "their cause" will save lives in the future, why do you object? If someone wants to kill me I want to know why. If I find out they want to kill me because I'm "free", tough. If they want to kill me because my leaders have been screwing with them and trying to keep it secret, I want to know.
And show a little imagination.

quote: Incidentlty, I said 'pfft' to your demand that we 'quote' each other. |
I didn't demand that we quote each other, I was already quoting you. You accused me of apologising for McVeigh and I asked you to quote me. You came up with "pfft". Then you offered your "interpretation" of a a quote that came AFTER you accused me of apologising for McVeigh. Unfortunately for you, the quote said nothing about a moral justification for anyone. If I was supporting McVeigh why didn't you find any justification for what he did in that quote? Because I was identifying cause and effect, not moral justification. But since what I wrote doesn't help support your accusation, you have to spin the quote.
quote: I find your method of debate to be little better than 6 year-olds on a play ground. Go figure I refused your demands to follow suit. |
Yeah, go figure. Make an accusation and support it with "pfft". You're so mature...
quote: When it was important, I quoted you, and may you choke on it for a long time. |
It wasn't important before? No, you made the accusation on the first page and couldn't quote me to support it. So you twisted a later quote to justify your earlier accusation after the fact. You jumped to a conclusion and then looked for proof later to justify the leap. That means you have a motive to "interpret" anything I said later to justify jumping to your conclusion, i.e., you have a motive to ignore what I wrote and the context. Choke on that...
And you say I have a fixation? I'm not the one following you around in these threads.
