	Sacred Names of the Horde Support Apolyton, buy Civilization III: Complete

Follow this link to the Sacred Names of the Horde thread.

Here we have some temporary Names to get things started.

It would be good to get some names in the lists for future occasions.

Also to either confirm the current unit and town names, or get new ones sorted.

	Increase Your PM Length

It seems we're squeezed between Ankh-Morpork and Euphoricans. It would be nice to be allies with both nations. Unfortunately we didn't get a single settler from all those huts. Or a tech. There goes our expansion trait.

We have some new troops, thanks to the huts.
No settlers, works or towns though.

"Slicers and Dicers Warrior - Yellow Circle"

When Horde Long Eyes popped the hut I got two surprises.
1. a fresh group of warriors pledged allegiance to the Horde
2. Mor-porkish Warrior spotted on distant hills.

To this end I have not started any negoatiations with the Mor-porkish types, leaving this to Ambassador Ljube
Then I dispatched the new warriors, the Slicers and Dicers 8, due north.

"Becks Beer Boys Warrior - Blue Circle"

When Heavy Axes popped the hut we received another fresh group of warriors, who pledged allegiance to the Horde
I immediately sent these warriors 9, to the north east to open those tiles up.

"Barbarian Village - Green Circle"

As we had no orders for the Wanderers, I continued them 2, south one more tile. This opened veiw of a barbarian village further to the south

"Capital Name Change"

Kharakorum changed to Khan's Blood Hall

	Mor-Pork Trade Support Apolyton, buy Galactic Civilizations

After some discussion with Ambassador Ljube, it has been decided that we offer them Pottery. The Ambassador has just now left the capital for the long journey down to meet and treat with these strangers. It is hoped that he will secure Ceremonial Burial in this transaction.

Plato and I have been throwing around some thoughts over at the "Boar".

Here be mine so far

"Up North"

The Heavy Axes (warrior) - 1
so as to search out the Porkers.

Becks Beer Boys (warrior) - 6
So as to open up the coast line towards the Euphoric Chaps

"Down South"

Horde Long Eyes (scout) - ??
some interesting thoughts, but nothing definite

Slicers and Dicers (warrior) - 4
unless the Porkers warrior is there


"Over East"

The Wanderers (warrior) - 2 towards the barbarian hut
or - 8 to keep an eye on the passages towards "Khans Blood Hall" incase Euphorica are heading in that way....

I think our Wanderers should stay where they are since that was part of the deal with Euphoricans.

The scout should proceed to the southeast and try to pop huts before the others do.

WA-8 and hold...consider renegotiation with Euphoricans
S&D-7 (Stay interposed between Ta-Tu and Porker warrior)
HLE-1 and then to mountain top

Harry-Road
Mildred-4 and the Irrigate

All cities stay on current production track

All leaders drink more at the Wild Boar.

Only one objection. Mildred should probably go 1 instead of 4 and then irrigate. Reason: The so called connection between Ta-Tu and the rest of empire is not much of a connection anyway since it crosses 2 rivers, Instead we need to build road across that hill in future. But before that we wish to maximise our commerce. A tile next to river will produce one more commerce.

I agree with the connection point from a traveling perspective, but we already have corruption in Ta-Tu and the population seems vulnerable for being rebelious. Hooking up the Ivory would provide a benefit, but at this point I have to agree that commerce is more of a priority.

Mmmmm...Roast Pork.

Perhaps we should convene a war council and lay plans? Have they responded to our attempts to diplomacy? I am definately not adverse to taking them on, but let's get a plan in place this turn as to what we want to accomplish with an attack on the pig people.

The Porkers moved their warrior 8 (north) thus threatening our cities. I suggest a prompt change of build and movement orders:

HA - Forget about the mountain top. Head for Ta-Tu asap.
BBB - Forget about revealing coast. Head for that mountain top asap.
Kazan - Forget about scouts. Build warriors asap.


In view of our future tech trade agreement with Euphorica we should probably delay the planned action against the Porkers. I'll ask the Euphoricans to give us bronze now and promise them iron in exchange for wheel in the future.

But in order to keep the Porkers at bay, perhaps we should accept their trade cer bur plus money for WC? They likely have 4 warriors and they are going to find other civs shortly and get WC from other source.
