Spent hours.... NOTHING is working, hell I don't even know if this is because I have XP but I think it is... when I run the shortcut and select the original game it runs fine, when I run the expansion, the program closes, no loading, no error, no hang up, NOTHING, it simply closes... HELP!

I of course scanned the entire board before I posted.... nothing there to help me.
I'll try the 5.0 patch, 1 moment.
Edit: Unless I am missing something, there is no 5.0 patch....

My .ini file is empty.
After running the original game.... it is not now.
On second, trying that.
Edit: Tried it, no luck.

I am getting !NO! error, simply when I click on crossfire, the launcher closes and nothing happens... everything else on my comp continues as if I never opened it.
I can run the original game fine though.

That stupid thing which lets me choose the version.... When I try to run terranx it says "C:/Program Files\Firaxes Games\Sid Meire's Alpha Centauri\Terranx.exe is not a valid win32 application."
I did not know that was not normal heh.
However reinstalling has not fixed it.

I used a no cd crack.... I don't know why but the executable just would NOT work, so I downloaded a no cd crack, it worked fine.
