Damn I wish I had the time to participate properly in this thread.

I'd like to hear people's opinions on who they think the worst player in the EPL is. And by that I mean the worst player who actually starts pretty regularly for his team.

In all seriousness, and recent elbowing incidences aside, I have to put forward the name of Timothee Atouba of Tottenham. He really is an enormous pile of cack in pretty much every respect, can't dribble, can't pass, can't tackle, can't head, poor discipline, even his own team hate him - he nearly got in a fight with Paul Robinson at the weekend. All this and Martin Jol still picks him ahead of Edman, who was one of our best players for the first 10 games of the season before he got injured.

The fact that he is an astonishing bad player and also scored a great goal for us to get a 1-0 away at Newcastle earlier in the season is just an added bonus because it also trolls Agathon, which is a worthy aim of any post.

Israeli footballers: you must remember Ronny Rosenthal. He played for some terrible London club IIRC and is responsible for one of the worst misses I've ever seen.

Is Israel still in a different qualifying group than the Arabs? That sucks. It would be much better if they had to play all the Arab teams - the games would be "spirited" if nothing else. As for fan violence, I doubt it would get as bad as the average Tyne-Wear derby.

And bollocks to Imran: that Shackell kid was OK in the first half against Bolton. A pity the rest of the Canaries' defence is so awful.

Another question: why do Sunderland even bother?

Revivo played for Celta Vigo and Fenerbahce (sp?) for quite some time. He has retired.

We now only have a single true star, and that's Benayun, from Racing Santander. I am also counting on Ben-hayim.

Yeah, we suck, but to our defence, we don't really make much of an effort, either.

Yeah i almost wept when i saw it. Teh heskulator is back! One minute hes Sven's (not England's) favourite player, the next hes playing for Birmingham.

He does get too much abuse, but hes been playing above his level for years, even at Birmingham, the goal he got on the weekend was lucky.

Sheringham could do a better job than Heskey still.

west coast. all of those are exclusively british. i know, ive spent a lot of time with those guys; i played soccer at a very high level and teammates were usually non american.

I don't see how I'm pwned. I said I don't follow crappy minnow nations including New Zealand's piss poor embarrassment of a team. I've no idea what that bunch of mobile turds are up to.

On the other hand, we're better than Israel. We've been to the finals (1982 when we were good) and I think that team still holds a couple of World Cup records (good ones too).

And we had the absolute pleasure in 1982 of making sure that Scotland went out (IIRC our two crappy goals against them were the difference HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!).

I'm guessing that the next good footy to come from our area will be from those kangaroo molesters across the Tasman.
