Vovan and Sparrowhawk bump and Sparrow wins the toss. There is an O under him.
Sparrow will limp into the pits along with Vovan.

Spaces sets his line for the pit, and brakes to try to get good benefit.
Jonny does not break, will he pit? Can he catch up and maintain without the top speed that Spaced will sure to have coming out.

Will Sparrow get hit again before making it to the pit? Tune in for lap 16 coming soon.

I admit i'm not an experienced nascar person, just having read this game basically ... but does anyone have a real shot at Jonny? He probably won't have to pit at all the rest of the race, being sway ... and will be quite a huge amount ahead of spaced, who can't accelerate like mad anyway because he has to save his WCs for hard turns at each curve ?

Lets hope so, as I can't lose any more max speed, so anyone else hitting me hurts them more then me.....though I don't really want to deal with oil.

As for Snoopy's question....in my opinion it is still early (as this race is three laps) and while it looks like Jonny and Spaced have the early advantage, I think the jury is still out on who will win.

I have to agree, but Spaced is going to have a wicked top end speed coming out of the pit. It could be 16,17 and he has the turbo to take advantage of it. Most others are just going to be getting back what they loast.

I don't know if Jonny can keep a lead with his top end.

But the race is three laps, so there's plenty to go

Can you use meaningfully a top speed that high, except for a couple of turns near the pit? You can't reasonably round the curves on the top and bottom without having what, 7 or 8 speed, max, and that's with sway or using a lot of WCs? And the east 'straightaway' not only is not particularly straight, but has sandbags slowing you regardless of your top speed, before you could realistically bring your speed up by much...

Rah, I'm planning on braking once while in-between limit markers to bring my speed to 4 while crossing the line so I can get 2 more WC. This is not considered a special power right?

It would be special if I tried to brake or accelerate twice, correct?

Correct, as long as the B is at the beginning of your turn it will count for reducing speed prior to passing the marker. You just can't do a BB or AA in the pit areal.

Spaced pits and looks like he's going for 2 wc's and a max speed of 17.
Jonny makes his move and decides not to pit. We'll see shortly if it was the right decision. He will come out of it in first place, but will he be able to hold it.
GJ looks like he will pit based on the B at the end of his turn.
Vovan avoids the oil but doesn't avoid sparrow again. And he loses the toss again.
6 is the minimum max speed and now two racers have attained it. So you guys can bump each other all the way to the pit and be happy that you have sways to avoid the oil that is again under Sparrow.
Kassi with the double BB looks to pit.

A BmmmmmmB counts as using your special power, and you can't use WC's either.
But a BBmmmmmm prior to crossing the ## works or a mmmmmAA if you've cleared the ##.

AND I"VE DECIDED TO CHANGE MY CRASH RULE FOR THE 2nd and 3rd lap. I'm going to stack both racers in the same spot instead of one behind the other. Having to avoid the oil from the back spot didn't work out like i thought. Hopefully this will work better.
