Isn't the royal family just a little bit silly? Increase the size of your Attachments

What really pisses me off is how much news attention the royal family of another country (we all know which one) dominates the news so much.

I can care less about this upcoming wedding, or whether she can be a queen. Who cares?

Why do countries keep the royal family around? Isn't it about time to get rid of them?

I'm almost grateful this Terri Schiavo case is taking so much news coverage, so we don't hear about this wedding so much.

I was thinking that as well, but then wondered how much balls she would have if confronted by a majority in Westminster, or Ottawa.

At most it is a speed bump. Perhaps a very important speed bump, as she is the CinC of the armed forces.
