It would be nice to see what BOH has to say, I think, even if it does simply add in another party's honesty for questioning.

Greetings Aqua. It has been an interesting few days in our world. With the change in the political situation, I thought it best that I contact you. I can confirm that Babylon has no intent or interest in pursuing with any aggression against DR. In all honesty and as you are more than aware - we were a bit player anyway. We cannot excuse our involvement in the TNA and the agggression targeted against DR. We entered with our eyes wide open, and rebuffed your earlier calls for co-operation, and your later calls for peace, as well as the peace urgings of the Lost Boys.
However, as you have obviously struck a new deal with BOH, you must be more than aware of their pivotol position in the TNA, despite all their gibberish in the public forum. I understand why they have done what they have done from a game, political, and military perspective. I am just not sure they fully understand the dynamics of a demo game. The world is not composed of a bunch of unthinking AI civs which you can cyclically atttack as per SP.
So - my purpose in writing is two fold. First - as I have stated above, to fully admit our complicity in the TNA aggression against DR. Secondly - to see if it is possible to repair our damaged relationship and move forward in this world. If there was a third purpose, it would be to warn you regarding BOH, but I suspect you have your eyes wide open as far as geo-politics and BOH go. In that respect, you are to be congratulated for finding a diplomatic solution to defending your homeland, following your earlier successful military actions. I for one would not have thought BOH would abandon its allies so quickly given their strident and and very recent posturing and encouragement of its allies. Hence my warning.
So, it is with both humility and frankness that I write this letter. Babylon is not proud of its recent past - and we now seek some form of reconciliation and common ground in order to move forward.

They do portray a steady hand, not as erratic as BoH. The idea of having the Desolators as allies against BoH has great merit. Beta, you have a skill at turning the situation to the way of Babylon, three cheers.

I myself, don't expect you to attack them, for that small of a sum of cash. I would generally lauph at someone if they had offered me the same. And realistically, we aren't in a position to do anything about them, but to warn the others of their duplicity and hope that they pay attention and be very wary, if not openly against them.
From what we (and our talks with AM before they attacked us), was that BoH's War production is frankly frightening. Just there Capitol alone, can build 2 turn Horsemen and 5 turn Ancient Cav. Then their are their other cities.
Granted, you are in your GA and have staggering Production, but for only a limited time. You also now have Feudalism and coupled with Monotheism, now are very likely researching Chivalry. But Remember this, If BoH stole Feud from us, what is to prevent them from doing te same with Chiv from you (that is, if you have no intention with sharing it with them, atleast without something in return)?? All they would need to do then, would be to upgrade one or 2 Horsemen to trigger their GA. After that, they will have the cashflow to upgrade the rest of that huge horsemen army and it will be game over for everyone.
I suspect that they will either want to keep Euph around long enough to have a weakened opponent to use as a trigger or attack someone else (AM or you are closest).
We are staggered by AM's attack against us, as we had just concluded talks on a border and tech agreement. We had even been working on a MPP treaty, feverously, with several chats and revisions with them about it. One reason their attack really through us for a loop, becuase of the progress that we were making. It really has taken our hearts out of the game. From what I've learned from Krill, he was going to offer Fued to either you or BoH or both, likely for Mono, but they also found out that you all already had it (becuase of BoH's stealing of it).
On a personal note, when I had joined out team, not too long ago, I was very much against our attack against you. And I wan't liking the things that I was reading, that was coming from BoH. It was just too good to be real and was suspisious of their motives, especially with out distance from you. I had tryed to convince the team that all was not right and that we needed to work more closely with you and not the other way around. That we would not be profiting from this and it would later lead to our destruction. Some didn't listen and some did, but couldn't figure a way out of the deals that we had already commited to. So, it was damned if we did, damned if we didn't.
And from the War Plans that BoH had come up with, it would have worked. But then, BoH delayed that one move, then backed out, right after we had done the deed. It was their war plan and we followed it the best that we could. I suspect, that if they hadn't had delayed and attacked when they were supposed to, that they would have taken Antioch and your Iron. But we all know that things played out differently....
Now, we have a general war and ultimately, BoH will be the victors. If they are allowed to get their UU & GA, then the game won't likely even see the middle of the Middle ages, little alone the end of it.
So, along that line, we implore you to make peace with Euph and not trust BoH. Also, if you have any Influance with AM, could you try to broker a cease fire, if not a peace. For it we all don't stant together against BoH, then we will surely fall separately.
Along with the Offer of Peace, we will be sending Monarchy.and the 75 gold.
