Um, I'm pretty sure you're missing that huge magnet that you have in the back of your car. Remember how that eastern guru suggested you put it there, so you could use the magnet's natural aligning powers to align the chakras of your car to put it in a better position to win?

I guess they needed a couple more WCs to stay in it. But that was part of what we wanted to find out.
I wonder if the track can be adjusted or just more WCs given.
Tuber looks like he's going to blow into 3rd place.

And lack of WCs continues to hinder Kass and GJ.

I'd like to take a second and applaud all the racers in this long race for sticking it out despite not being near the front. At least no one was lapped.

I dunno, spaced ... Jonny has a 7 speed advantage at the moment, and I don't think he will lose that much speed in the sandtrap (maybe 3 or 4 total, I forget)... and a 2 max speed advantage, plus a 3 WC advantage.

I think it will be close, between Jonny and Vovan ...

and I will take a second to admit that there have been a couple times that I was ready to pack it in, but with a racer or two behind me I thought I might end out influencing their race one way or another if I quit so I stuck it out (and still am) though realistically I have been out of it for quite a while now.

It brings up an interesting idea however. What about a Nascar Season? You get points for how you finish each race (Max for winning; less for each racer that sticks it out to the end of the race based upon their standing when the winner crosses the finish line. Zero points for not finishing the race).

We could probably even go back and score for the other races.

Any other thoughts?

Season ... each person hosts a race, plus some non-players, with their own course (and of course not competing in said race) ... 15 points for first, 12 for second, 9 for third, and 6->2 for 4th -> 8th, with 9th+ getting 1 point if the finish.

Snoopy sounds to be in favour of a season with points awarded, but as he has yet to play I can only hope to think that means he plans on signing up for the next race . Anyone else with any input on the subject?

We've had trouble finding people who are willing to commit for the length of a single race, let alone an entire season. We need shorter races for that to work.
