Could be tricky finding 92,000 fans.

AC Milan v. Chelsea only drew 39,000 last year in Philadelphia (about half full) and Chelsea v. AS Roma only drew 25,000 last year in Pittsburgh (about a third full). Maybe Chelsea's win in the premiership will get them to more respectable numbers like ManU v. AC Milan drawing 75,000 at Giants Stadium, which was probably 5,000 or so shy of a sell out.

I've never been to Fed Ex Field. I understand that it's pretty huge, since each fan has an individual seat. Our college football stadiums that hold so many have mostly benches, not individual seats, and therefore can fit more people in a smaller space.

I'd be amazed if they got 92,000 for a friendly in London let alone New York. Mind you, must be a lot of ex-pat Brits who don't get to see real football and people of Italian descent in New York, and it's a big city but still.

In fact I'm pretty amazed that they pulled 39,000 in Phili.

swiss tony is quality it's frightening to think how good he'll be in a few years.

i do though have every confidence that spurs will manage to ruin reto ziegler, so it's not all good news for the swiss.
