You Christians get the short end of the stick in international politics.
The muslim world can completley outlaw christianity, punish practicing it with penalties up to and including death, desecrate your holy books, burn the American flag on a daily basis... but if we flush a quoran down the toilet.... and we did not, our president has to apologize?
I have a brilliant website concept to tell the islamic facist fundamentalists to go fornicate with themselves.

we need a site called www.quoranflushers.com
People could submit pictures of themselves flushing copies of the quoran down toilets, or desecrating it in other creative ways.

I am not a racist and I don't hate muslims but the outrage over one sentence in a newspaper with an unreputable reputation......
It already is a holy war, so yeah, why not?
The population of the middle east have been brainwashed by a mix of fundamentalist religion and oppresive leaders who use us as a scape goat for all their troubles.
I'm shocked no one made a website like this already, but i'll give it time.

I know this is a shocking idea but *GASP* equality is a two way street.
The middle east muslim world does not give a rats ass about allowing Christians to practice their religion or about religious equality, all they care about is spreading their own religion, to the exclusion of all others. They are using the cover of equality when it is an obvious sham yet NO ONE calls them on this.
How come we have to observe their religion to the upteenth degree but they can **** on yours?
I am not a Christian, but America *IS* a Christian country and the **** it takes, is not fair.
I love America and I love how I can practice my religion here without being penalized. If I was in almost any middle eastern country besides Israel and I wanted to practice my religion, I would be subject to threats on my well being and person and oppresive laws, if not a complete ban all together.
Real fair. They can have apartheid like religious exclusion, while calling the rest of the world intollerent.
Oh Israel is so evil, oh Israel is so awfull, waaaah! How about the fact that Jews have been basically kicked out of the middle east in the last 50 years, their possesions ransacked? Talk to a Persian Jew-you won't find one in the middle east-they were all forced to come here. They sure did not seem to care when they destroyed synagouges and Torahs.
The Islamic states oppress their people with religious hatred and we have to pucker up and kiss their asses for it and people IGNORE THAT THIS GOES ON.
Where are the calls that "No, this is NOT RIGHT!" from anyone, even the often racist republican right? No one is willing to stand up and say that the majority of the goverments in the middle east are BAD.
*GASP* not PC? TOUGH. It is correct and EVERYONE knows it but no one will talk about it.
Will saying this end our oil supplies? Of course not, they need to sell it and we will buy it. Will this bring more terrorists? Who cares, they all hate us, either justified or because of brain washing.

This thread started as a clever joke and has ended up as an expression of my hatred of the injustice of the middle east and the greated injustice that the west completley ignores it. Why the hell are we ignoring the EVIL, *GASP* I said the word evil I must be a Bush like bible basher, evil practices of the majority of the middle east while still trying to oppease them?
You know what would have made me happy? If instead of the periodical which had the one sentence about a quran possibly being in a toilet(from an annonymous source), putting a retraction in todays issue, instead they had this text on the cover:
"No, they did not flush one, but we did".
And a picture of a quran in a toilet, with an American flag on the background.
I am sick of America having to be the ultimate bastion of morality and political correctness while we are deficated on daily.

Alex that is a GOOD thing.
As long as we all have the freedom to flush each others holy books down toilets, it is perfectly fair and equal.
