Amazing what newbies have overtaken me. I used to rank #17, now I'm on the 5th page. So many deities I have never even heard of, must be all the Civ3 rage...

Same here . Used to be in Top20, and at the rate that I was posting at, I was always going to hit deity in August 2005 - my rate has been on average pretty much the same from since I registered to last October, but then my posts went down significantly and I will probably only be a Deity next year.

Now I guess if OTF posts still counted, we would have at least 40 deities by now.

hey just a question , do civ3pbem tracking posts count for posts , if so should they.. perhaps posts made in the newly made forum civ3 pbem turn tracker should be same as the off topic forums ...

Posts made in an on-topic forum deserve +1, even if they just convey to others that a turn has been played. The site is about playing the game, the posts are about playing the game - it is all good.

Regarding the new rank, while I support such a measure, the forum software prevents its realisation. We are stuck with the number of ranks we have.

at least we got rid of that one Diety man what a loser

My view and I asked and was told maybe that if a Deity was also a lifetime member, perhaps some sort of rank of "Eternal" or Immortal would be fitting seeing how they contribute in not only posting but in financing this simply awesome site

Dissident - 22 posts in the OT in the last 24 hours. It's easy to see, therefore, that quite a few OT posters likely exceed 500 posts per month. And you got to take in account that OT posts haven't counted for around 4 years now. For a poster who makes 500 OT posts per month, that's 24k posts in that time - which is more than even Ming has now.
