Where did your ancestors come fom? Support Apolyton buy from Amazon

Of the 2 lineages I know (on on my Dad's side through his grandfather and on my Mom's side through her granfather), they are from SE Norway on my Dad's side, and Northern Germany on my Mom's.

They come from Normandy (France). Most of my ancestors came here, in Quebec. A couple of them decided to settle in the States. One of them even became a somewhat famous Civil war general (on the wrong side, unfortunately). And it seems that my French ancestor's ancestors came from somewhere in the UK.

my ancestors came from America (native american), though if you go back far enough they came from Asia. And I also have ancestors from England, and France/Germany (the town has switched hands several times- it's right on the border- currently under french rule)
