That's not what it means. It means the state was unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was guilty, that's all. Actual guilt and legal guilt are two different things.

It's absolutely amazing, after the OJ trial, that people think if they didn't get a guilty verdict, the prosecution made up the case...

Damn - your average american crowd really is wierd...

I watched part of the press conference with the juries and they sure are colorful characters.

I especially liked it when fat dweeb with big ears went: "I feel like I made 19 new friends in 6 months! DUH!" (proceedes to drool on himself).

I find it odd that nobody really here has given the guy the benefit of the doubt... Is not possible that guy really is innocent and did not abuse anyone??? or Do we just go ahead and try them in the media like everyone else? As far as i am concerned the procesution didnt prove that Mj did a dam thing

You answered your own question. It's unfortunete, but if the media says or implies somone is guilty, people think he's guilty and if he wins, then the justice system sucks or something.

When the prosecution gets caught lying and cheating, and repeatedly so in this case, it will lose. It can not overcome reasonable doubt carrying such baggage.
I ran out of fingers counting the number times the stupid prosecution had in opening argument contradicted by its own witnesses. That is lazyness and imcompetance of the highest order in its investigation and preperation. With a case like that Satan would be aquitted, even if he was a pauper.

What is interesting is how folks all over the country presume to know whether he is guilty or innocent based on a couple of news reports, personal conversations, and news papers we've seen, and based on this mountain of credible evidense presume to tell the 12 people who spent weeks listening to every shred of evidense on the case that they are wrong.

Do I know he is guilty or innocent? No I don't. Do I know half as much as any of the jurors who made this decision? Not even close. Therefore I trust their decision. MJ is innocent.

Thats the point here nobody even the jurors know if hes innocent or not. The whole point is there was not enough evidence anywhere to prove mj did a thing. The da screwed up they knew that and went forward with a trial that had not a whole lot of basis. Do most folks think that his cleberity status got him off im sure. There is one thing that convinced me that he didnt do what they accused him of and that was a biography if this kid that was accusing him wiht the guy he didnt act very afraid in that video
