Actually never took henchies on missions - made that religious basically for me. Always found a party, even though 'twere sometimes a party that henchies could have beat in PvP ...

(I've taken henchies now, but only to go along with a lower level person i'm helping out.)

I have it for a month and it is still in its shrink-wrap. Too much involved in EQ2, still waiting for a long downtime.

Just finished my third PvE character. The main thing left to me except PvP (my guild were briefly in the top 100 before we started dabbling with a new build and dropped a few places) is Underworld/Fissure of Woe.

I am going to have to switch my copy to the American servers though, because the stupid HoH rule means that no one in Europe ever (ok I exaggerated, you might get in a couple of times per month) gets to go to UW/FoW.

Thing is there are big differences between the servers, and you can make money switching.

The big one is ecto/shards, which are needed for obsidian armour. Because they drop in UW/FoW and Europe never have the favour they are much more expensive in Europe. Many of my guild were buying from America even before they switched there.

You could also make money early on by buying stuff early on in the day and selling later when it was busier. I think they've 'fixed' this now. 'Fixed' in that the buy/sell spread is too large for any profit to be possible. Personally I think it's kinda stupid having a trader buy for 1K and sell for 4K, as it undermines the point of having traders in the first place. Do they really need such a large profit margin?

People are back to selling nice runes by spamming trade chat again now, which pretty much defeats the point of the traders.

I'm considering few other builds such as Ne/Mo and I haven't decided what to make for my other two slots - I'd love at least one char of each profession as primary but dammit we only can have 4 chars. Some day I want a E or Me primary and others, I want a Mo and W primaries.

Ok, anybody got a guild to recommend? Anybody like their own? I need one that will have patience for a new player. I'm not your classic newbie - I take time to figure things out on my own instead of whining the first second I am stumped or whatever. But the fact remains - this is my first character and I am still learning. Definitely prefer a guild that have players who at least do attempt to use tactics instead of just "Chaaaarrrggeeeeeeeee!"

Interputting, how does it work?

Whenever I'm in combat and see a spell icon under the enemy's red bar, by that time, is it still possible to interput or is it too late? What I'm trying to find out here is the timing.

Also someone told me that all attributes have maximum limit of 12 points, is that accurate?

12 is your base for your character, runes and weapon upgades can increase it

I tried to get interrupting to work for my warrior, and found I was a little hit and miss, but thats probably becaue I hasnt practied enough. I tried to hit them when i saw the spell ion first pop up, and also tried to hit them during spells that hve long casting times

Snotty yeah that's what I thought - the second that icon pops up is the crucial time to attempt an interruption.

Can anything be interrupted (skills including) or only spells, preparations, rituals, hexes and ?

Interrupting just takes a little practice. You also need to consider the length of time their skill takes to cast, and your interrupt in comparison.

Yes. Anything can be interrupted that takes time to cast; not every spell takes time, however.

Sometimes you need to start the interruption BEFORE the icon pops up - there are some very fast cast spells (especially if it's an ME) that you won't have time to interrupt unless you guess when they're likely to cast them. However, that's sometimes possible

Nod I practiced doing that earlier today to some success. Some mobs are predictable in their casting pattern so that helped. PvP may be different heh.
