Speaking of PvP, do I need to go back and fight in the arena(s)? I have been trying to find a decent Tomb -> HoH group, but only 3 (out of maybe 12) have even killed the frickin' AI guys at the beginning ... and both of the ones that made it to the 6 team fight got slaughtered there without taking down more than 3 guys total. 6 faction points for 12 fights? Blah ...

Mo/E is fine......I was talking about E/Mo. You need to consider what your E is giving you though if you use it. There will usually be elementalists who are better placed to take earth protection wards.

Welcome to tombs. If you find a good group hold on to them very tightly.

Is there supposed to be a warrior boss inthe Dunes of despair? The last update apparently changed the boss spawn, so now I cant find him to steal his elite skill

The same bosses don't always spawn. You may have to re-do a map dozens of times

Just finished a fun session. I wanted to practice possible tactics with ranger and mesmer skills and figured the Charrs in the Northlands would do nicely. Up to this point I've been soloing all quests except for two obligatory group quests so it was very recent that I started to group.

People are so annoying, ugh! But that's newbie area for you.

Today was fun, the warrior monk I partied with knows his stuff and even with our dying a lot it was enjoyable. No death penatly helps ha.

Even picked up few tips - I did not know that mesmer spells could go through walls and obstactles - i was used to needing to have a line of sight for my arrows. And it was neat to finally kill those Charr mini bosses. 8% high morale increase, nice!

If you play lots of random team PvP, the kills rack up pretty quickly. I have about 100 right now, and I just got past Frost Gate. The rate of growth will go drastically down now, though, since we're letting the henchies do the tanking and me do the healing, and I don't have time for PvP.

Actually Kassi, you're just leaving the part of the game where you can play with henchies and not die horribly over and over and over - the game gets harder. The rate of death will go drastically up now I found henchies in Kryta and the jungle to be a total liablility.

Other humans help immensly. Henchies hinder when you realise you cant "pull" or "lure" any monsters.

It's worse when you are very used to the game. I could tolerate mediocre players when I was new to the game too, but now I have a fit every time anyone makes a tiny error. Playing PvP (and some high end PvE) with a good guild spoils you.

In that case we better not group for a long while - I'm still learning myself!

As for guilds, are those nation-specific? As in Americans only can join American guilds, Koreans and so on? Is it possible to create an international guild in which everybody from whatever part of the globe can join? It just struck me that this favor of Gods may prevent this from happening.

Still haven't set a foot in post-searing so bear with me

You can join a guild anywhere but you need to change your location semi-permanently, so you don't see many mixed guilds for GvG.

In Tombs there are lots of mixed teams.
