Jeezus, that's more dmg than an Earthshock with longer range and less mana cost. Same cooldown as well.

I am the MT totem dropper on Onyxia (and any other raid bosses) for my guild. During phase 2 I build up a massive amount of threat by chain earthshocking my way through 2-3 powerbars, so that the big snake comes for me at the start of phase 3 and thus close to the MT. Means I get chainhealed for a few seconds though, quite scary.

I watched AV for over 4 hours tonight (my freind was playing.. was constantly 2nd highest kills.. (there was probably a time period where he wasn't, because we went to the rear to turn in quests, but couldn't figure it out (couldn't find one of the NPCs), and when he checked he was still 2nd, but a new person was first))
but anyway, it looked really cool, but the alliance seemed to do it all wrong
I think you have to do some focusing on doing the quests, just going in and nailing the horde, and taking the graveyards won't win it
I wiatched and the alliance seemed to be winning for a long time, they took two graveyards, and destroyed a tower
the horde counterattacked the second graveyard, then snuck some through when the alliance was counterattacking and destroyed a tower/bunker
then the alliance took back the graveyard was destroying another tower/bunker
but it seemed a bit split up.. then the horde summoned the elemental
and it just slaughtered the alliance, some wanted to ignore it, some wanted to do other things with it, but it seemed to just go arround slaughtering (way less then half the alliance was near it most the time, and almost no horde (Because it went through the actual lines))
then the alliance dicided to make their own elemental, and sent it (the horde had recaptured one of the two graveyards at this point), and sent it against the horde (while ignoring the one that was fighting in alliance territory)
the horde then proceeded to fight it off, then took one of the alliance graveyards (bypassing the high one in the middle that the alliance had taken first)
that is the time my freind went looking for the NPCs (he had played for the whole time so far.. which was ~5 hours)
by the time we found them, the horde was attacking the graveyard by the bridge..
