We can play any two of Duff, Robben, SWP and Joe Cole.

We definitely scored fewer goals when Duff and Robben were out.. maybe next season we can break the goalscoring record it's about the only Premiership record we didn't break last season.

Oh and Fantasy Football is here again, everyone should play. It's a lot tougher this season!

He'll definitely get games. Chelsea will probably have a huge number of fixtures and although Mourinho isn't a Tinkerman he does rotate people and there are always injuries...

I think he'll also get more games in midfield this season rather than on the wing.

Where sometimes last season Mourinho played him on the wing and Tiago or Gudjohnson in midfield he should now be able to play Makalele, Lampard and Cole with SWP and Robben on the wings.

That "rule" is the stupidest waste of time ever.

Of course this new offside rule is bollocks already but at least it isnt getting worse.

We should just go back to the old rule, if youre offside youre offside, actively involved or not. At least before linesmen had one job, now theyre given power to make more mistakes

The new is crap. No offsides until they actually touch the ball? I mean that's silly and has the potential for a lot of (IMO, BS) strategy to send a player offsides just to confuse the defense... just not have him touch it.

Yeah, but I can see why the rule was changed. If some winger is a step offside, but the ball doesn't come within 20 feet of him, it makes little sense to blow the whistle.

it will speed up the game, i think its a good rule. you always see lazy strikers trailing behind the defense when they lose the ball. do you really want to whistle offside if the ball gets passed way on the other side of the field?

Chances are hes being watched or at least considered by the defence, so its never "inactive".

What about the waste of time to wait for the offside player to touch it, this happened a lot in the confederations cup.

I'm very 'old school' on the issue. If you are on the pitch and in an offside position then you are offside.
