I did have my camera phone with me, but since we were literally one table away it would've been difficult for me to surreptitiously take their picture, especially as the stupid thing is programmed to alway use the flash.

What if the T-shirts were bought legally then modified by the individuals? A group of women at the church could have gotten together and altered the shirts for the church, it's not hard to do. You can buy the necessary materials in many craft stores. I don't think you can prosecute someone for items they modified after purchase unless the modification is outright slander..

They'll likely not sue, but send a strongly worded cease and desist letter. Since the church posts its bulletins online, if Disney does respond, it'll likely be a main topic in an upcoming issue.

I think that this is an excellent use of time. While he may be standing up for the big guy, then I find it unlikely that a court would award Disney all of the legal costs anyway, so they're still having to shell out on lawyers' fees.
