I will not have internet access from 7/28 thru 8/3. But I think we can hammer out some of the details before that.

If we go with teams of two we could look at planned availability.

Either way I'd like to be the Not-worth-the-paper-its-written-on Oath Tribe.

He and I used to play LAN games quite a bit. We both like that "The Ancient Mediteranean" mod.

Ya I should reinstall it on at least one machine, Ill do that.

sorry. A little off topic from the Canadian beer and dancing boys. What's wrong with you? Canadian Beer.

But in a LAN game, does the host player have to activate each and every unit manually?

When I have tried to host, it becomes my turn but instantly I get the blinking button like my turn is over. However I can click on each unit, activate, and move. Not too bad for the first few turns, but would be a nightmare very soon. Any ideas?

That's eight. So why don't we simply go -

Team 1 skro and shogun
Team 2 klo and herc
Team 3 planet and E_T
Team 4 scaeva and beta

Seems to balance the teams fairly well. Everyone Ok with this??

We are missing jon (who seems to have lost interest), Micha, who has been around, and BFM. Do Micha nd BFM want to form a 5th team - or do we go with 4.

Kloreep - are you OK setting up an 'adjusted' game with 4 babylonian civilizations.

Or do want the babylonians to duke it out with their historical arch rivals - say the Egyptians, the Hittites, and the Persians (I am avoiding the Sumerians because of the agricultural trait).

All Babs sounds interesting.

Definitely Small Map.

I agree with Skrobism on going for Continents (and I'd propose going with the middle settings in everything) but I'm flexible on that.

I'm willing to set up the game, though I won't be doing it anytime before saturday evening.

If scaeva plays and we eventually do this PBEM, Ill just play with him. That way if he cant play I maybe able to and visa versa.
