	White People's political party formed in my state Increase the size of your Attachments

For the first time I'm ashamed to be from the state I live in. Though I was a little ashamed when the passed the marriage can only be between a man and a woman thing. Yes, I'm sure you guys will make all kinds of jokes about my state that should be embarrassed about. But I don't care.

The party is formed, but they still need a certain number of signitures (7,914 signatures by Aug. 11, 2006) to be an official Nevada party. It scares me to think they may actually be able to get that many signitures.

their platform should be obvious.

They have no hope of winning any elections, I have no idea why they are doing this. But I have never heard of this happening in any other states, so I thought I would mention it.

Should such a party be allowed to exist?

Hey, lets just make the Nazi party in Germany legal again! Or lets just have an "America should rule the world" party.

I say crackdown on them. Get their names, SSN's, and residences.

What I don't understand is why the "war on terror" doesn't also focus on local-born terrorists like the KKK, American Nazi parties (I.E. World Church of the Creator, etc). They're preaching hate and arming themselves and hell-bent on taking on and destablizing the US govt. Focus on these fools too.

It sounds like "White People's" party just wants to make themselves more visible...maybe intending to get more members. Get visible, get more members, get more power.

I don't see what the problem is. Let them register. Let them be active. And the minute they show any illegal activity, especially if we are talking about clear discrimination or other racial hate things, bring the hammer down. Before that, I don't see anything wrong with it, even though it is kind suspicious for sures. Keep an eye on them and let them play nice and if they can't play nice, then smash it.

Though, I'm wondering. There are support groups for women, black people, gay, gay black women, gay hispanic black women, every sorta minority. Now, if someone would set up a support/lobby group for the caucasian populace, would they be automatically labeled as a nazi/white supremacist?

"For" white people sounds good, but "against" everybody else sounds bad, to my ear, which admittedly has some water in it.

To even ask whether it's ok for a political party to be formed for whites and by whites is patently racist. Nobody ever questions the right of any other race to organize along ethnic lines.
