"Pale" doesn't begin to describe it. Maddox' rants can be enjoyable to an extent (to me, at least). In zeno's case, you keep the rants and the insults, but you remove every hint of literary talent, every hint of wit. japher, get a domain you like, it costs about 10 bucks. get a host server, go for one with large bandwidth, should be 10 to 15 a month.

freeware blogsoftware is widely availabe. put everythiong together and voila. should be 2-3 days work tops, and 20-30 bucks.

My host is pretty cheap, and I know the guy who runs it too (actually, this is a subsidiary bought out by the company he runs). $15 per YEAR for 300mb space, 6GB monthly bandwidth, and lots of niftiness.
