Some choice WR's being cut!

CIN - Peter Warrick
ATL - Peerless Price

I would prefer P. Warrick because he is deadly in the slot and I think that would be a great addition to the Eagles offense. TO outside G.Lewis outside LJ.Smith underneath and P. Warrick in the slot. That would be deadly to teams because that doesn't factor in Westbrook. If there are any injuries all we would have to do is shift.

the question remains. Where are the Saints going to play?

I watched my very first (and only) NFL game at the superdome in New Orleans. I feel bad for New orleans and the saints.

LA's Colliseum? LA's been dieing for a team for years - nows their chance to show what they got! I wonder if it'd actually be doable?

Anyways, one less "QB" in the 'Phins camp, as they cut Brock Berlin. I still think the 'Phins should offer Ronnie Brown as trade bait, and see if they can snag a QB/ high draft choices for next season.

Actually what I've been hearing for the Saints is to play in LSU's stadium for a game or two. Of course that could be problematic if LSU has a home game that Saturday.

It's good that the Saints are on the road most of September.

Simon is an above average player. His best quality is that he doesnt get injured.. He had a very average year last year. Colts are talking 5 yrs - 30 million w 13 mill signing bonus. IMO, thats too much to pay for him...

I hate to see him go. I'm not as optimistic as the Eagles that they can play at a high level without him in their current DT rotation. He was going to report in time to play the first game... They should have kept him this year and then let him walk...

What pisses me off about the Simon deal is that the Eagles had seperate trades worked out with Ravens and one other team for Simon but could not consummate because Simon could not reach a contract agreement with either one.. So how were the Colts overlooked as trade partners?!

Dolphins showed nothing on offense again last night. From the post game wrap-up:

Atlanta's starting defense called it a night after three plays, but the Miami starters struggled against second- and third-teamers.

I think thats a sign of a really bad offensive line, but regardless its gonna be another long season for Miami.....

The first New Orleans game will reportedly be played vs the Giants in the Meadowlands -- as a Saints "home" game.

Tom Benson was quoted in the NO Times-Picayune as saying the Saints would play most of their home games in San Antonio this year, and that he planned to make it permanent.

In the Saturday Chicago Tribune, columnist Mike Downey suggests that the NFL has been looking for an excuse to move a team to Los Angeles, and that it will be the Saints, as early as 2006.
