No train system of any meaning in our country, each city fends for itself, and some of our larger cities have essentially worthless public transits inside the city. Even Adam Smith would agree it makes sense to develop a good public transit system ...

I appended Pompeii to Trinarium 05.rar on Lemmy's site. Feel free to DL or not - it's not particularly relevant to the world economy, and has about 40 commuters on its one passenger ferry.

Also it's using the SmileyPlan for no cars. Whatsoever. Freight trucks are OK, but no cars.

Ive got a motorway and 2 railways going through on your side, they broke off when i imported your city, i connected them again my side, see if you can get them this time.

Also i dont want to connect those 3 roads you connected, theyre next to low density residential and will cause lots of traffic where i dont want it. I want them all to come down the motorway or rail.

The motorway comes out onto the tiny island on your side, perhaps you can use a T-intersection and split it to either big island so itll also be used for your own commuters aswell.

I also have no rail, and don't intend to ever have such a thing. If necessary I'll make a bus-stop there, but that's annoying.

I'll look at your city and think about it - but without looking i have to guess you're putting them in annoying spots for me based on my setup

Well if you tell me which side of the island you would put the motorway ill put it there. Only needs to be one section then run it off onto an avenue.

Also rail to at least one side? The industry side would probably be best for us both.

Taxes for Dirty Industry went up, Manufacturing demand went up, so built a new industrial zone.


City kept expanding...i initially took out a 30k loan to fund it, but i only used about 5k of that.

I don't intend to have any rail anywhere, that's what my ferries are for. I'l either connect it or not, i guess, based on what i feel like and what i have in the area

My industry is all on the south side. I suppose that's where the highway should go, also, if you choose. I'd really rather a single road or at most avenue, though ... it's far cheaper for you to cut the highway into an avenue on your side then send it over, than for you to send a motorway over to my side and then immediately cut it.

Subway created at the end to help my rich folk- thanks to the 20% taxes on middle and lower classes, i'm getting some! - on the plateau come down. It has connections south, west (on the south edge, Maq), and east.

Also created a ballpark in the new Commercial area.

Despite this forecast, the mayor presses ahead with some of his more radical reforms, like the short route toll station. The system works by paying money from bus system into the toll booth system, while supporting the bus system with tolls. Apparently he developed this idea after reading about recent remarkable developments in free energy online:

What did you barbarians do to my High-tech demand , I didn't know dimwittedness was contagious. Anyway... fortunately it's not like HT does anything....

At the start of the 5 year term the Beloved Dictator gathered the masses of Thousand Isles and ordered them to breed like rabbits or get pushed off the edge of the world. Properly feare... enthralled they managed to pentuple (or something) their population, increasing from 8K to just under 40K, completely filling one of the larger land areas.



The fertile farmland around Farm Town had been partitioned into small blocks and given to settlers, with a very flexible taxation plan. Namely, once the farmers built a market in Foodtown, the Dictator flexed and ordered the settlers to pay 20% taxes or OFF THE EDGE WITH THE REST OF THE TRASH! Thusly motivated they agreed to tribute $1.5K monthly.


The great bridge-laying snake frolicked down another chain of islands. Rumors of a diagonal bridge were ruthlessly crushed and pushed off the edge!


NOTE: I uploaded my main city and a smaller one, I accidentely uploaded it as Xiamen 10.rar, and it wont let me upgrade a renamed file gives a BS error message, bah.

Holiday Island was founded when wealthy snobs from Thousand Needles disagreed with the policy of building industry on pistrine islands. They were summarily pushed off the edge, but managed to follow the Arrow and founded a small city nestled between Thousand Isles and Tieran. The Dictator later located his top secret lair on the island.

(It is unlikely this city will be updated, it mainly serves as a ferry route.)

These three small islands are home to The Last Chance Children's Mission, a religious school for children of rich capitalists who are "difficult". It's quite pleasant, really, though there was the incident where a child returned home with an unidentified implant in his skull.



The cover operation (and the 'two birds with one stone' intelligence operation) aside, buried in the woods of the islands is a PLAAF listening post. This airstrip monitors nearby Taiwan, and is prepared to take immediate action should it be deemed necessary.



(Yeah, it required cheating a bit, but oh well...)
