After the death of Anakin, I decided to investigate further to see if any evidence could be uncovered of the killer's identity. Interestingly enough, as I check my droid R4's data banks, one could clearly see the death of anakin. The blurred tape showed Anakin resting, and then stirring out of a deep sleep to activate his lightsaber. Then from the entrance to his door, a small hooded figure fired a blaster into his shoulder, carving a large hole. The blaster had been set to a low power, in order to cause the maximum amount of pain, when passing through the body, allowing for the blood to flow out of the wound, rather than instantly cauterising. Perhaps the most telling, is that R4 could not be responsible for the death of anakin, if he were filming his death from the corner in which he quietly rested. This observation would prove futile as I presented the evidence to the Jedi Council, that the tape proved the involvement of one of their own in the death of Anakin Skywalker.

Rather, to my shock, they suggested that R4's records were unreliable, and that in accusing the council, it was better to scrap the droid rather than cast doubts and divisions within the already fractured council. Thus they sentenced R4 to be demolished. To my greater surprise, even the minority disagreed with my findings that a Jedi had to have been responsible, and suggested that Senator Amidala concealed her blaster skill, and would have had a motive to kill Anakin, particularly after he had turned to the dark side. Disgusted by their coverup, I decided that I must now seek to expose the traitor within the council itself.

Unsurprisingly, the demolition of my faithful droid R4 did nothing to stem the tide of deaths that has overwhelmed the calm rationality of the Jedi Council. This morning, Mace Windu found Saesee Tinn dead on his bed, killed by a blaster shot to the shoulder. Evidence of a struggle abounded, books scattered all over his quarters and blaster burns to the walls. Clearly Saesee foresaw his assassin, but failed to overcome the assault, submitting as all the others. This to me suggests superior skill in the force to overcome a wary, and telepathic Jedi Master.

Obviously, this exonerated my droid of involvement in the death of Anakin, yet still left a killer who had shown no signs of slowing down. Filing my own investigation, I then reviewed the film from the other droid, R2D2 to check up on the activities of Padme Amidala, in the hopes that I could find evidence to clear her.

On the tapes, I could find her great distress over the death of my padawan, and the shocking news that she was indeed, pregnant by him. Rather than being a suspect in a murder investigation, it is a wonder that she could even collect her thoughts to get out of bed in the morning. I quickly shut off R2, and resolved not to watch any of the other tapes, out of respect for the privacy of this proud and strong woman.

R2D2 and C3PO surely is suspicious... Droids, they're not human and not to be trusted. Who knows what thy can do if their chip came in the wrong programmer's hands... I don't know if they're good at shooting or not, but this killer seems not the best, and has superior skills in the Force obviously. That suggest Yoda!
