	"Felix Cactus" turn tracking thread Increase the size of your Attachments

Upon crashlanding on Planet one of the survivors, upon crawling out of the Escape Capsule wreckage, saw a monolith in the distance. Commenting to a comrade who had also just managed to struggle free of the wreckage, the survivor, formerly from the southwestern US, commented, " I don't think thats a Felix, Cactus".
The latter replied, "don't you mean 'I don't think thats a cactus, Felix' ?"
"yeah, whatever....."


This is the turn tracking thread for the SMAC game "Felix Cactus". Players are in order:

Hive: Lazurus
Uni's: Cataphract
Morgan: Chill Bill
PK's: Platypus Rex

AI's have not been assisted, but have been aquatically inclined. Probe Cruisers have been enabled. First turn has been sent to Lazurus. Good Luck to All!

Read the writeup, I think Darsnan just went out of ideas about why the heck Felix catus and then he thought up that one..

I think he deserves some credit as humourist as he does quite good for an amateur!

Sorry about the delay chaps. I have had a virus encounter of the worst kind! Dont want to pass anything on.

I may have to re-format the hard drive. Give me 12 hrs or so form this post to work everything out. Shouldn't be long.

OK, I have just confirmed that someone has unintentionally given out their password to another player in this game. Considering this game is only entering its second turn, I think the best thing to do is to start over. Unless someone has a really strong (and really valid) reason for not restarting, why I will rebuild and resend the first turn to Lazurus. If I don't hear anything to the contrary I will send out the new version of the game (and the only change will be a new password for said player) in about 18 hours from now.

Yeah. No problems here with a restart. My sp was pretty good but nothing to bring everything to a svreeching halt. At least this happened in the 1st turn and not the 41st. Now that would have been unfortunate.
