I have the same problem, only thing is that because of it neither him nor her (because he won't let her) will come hang out. Tonight is the first time I have seen either for a month, and he was shooting daggars through his eyes at me all night when ever I talked to her.

If your that untrusting of someone then you really shouldn't be together. I will just cause far too much drama in the end.

The problem is "hanging out" is not the same as "getting drunk together." Drunk, or is the Durnk, people do foolish/stupid things. Two dnurk people do even MORE stupid things.

That aside, alot of guys become control freaks over their GF's and wives. It won't get better. You are actually doing any person, male or female, a favor by hanging out with them when they have a controlling significant other. Especially if they are not married yet. This will let them see the true colors of the individual, and hopefully prevent it from resulting in marraige, and kids. Whose life the control freak will make absolutely miserable, trust me on that one.

However, if you are going out to get durnk - do it in a group if YOU are engaged. Generally good idea, generally REALLY good idea. Better yet, have the designated driver keep an eye on you in case you show signs of being terminally stupid.

I used to have same situation with one couple, but I Knew thme only briefly. They were BOTH like that though.

These days, no I really don't have anyone not trusting me. I went with these girls to bar this friday, of course we met there with the dudes. And then I took them home too, because the dudes were lazy bastards and they didn't want to use publics and walk home without a man and get gangraped. So I did my duty and bodyguarded them home. That was it though.

You'll never catch me with my friends gf. That just won't happen.

I once noticed a long time after a friend had broken up with his g/f (they were together several times with break-ups in between) that the girl had liked me quite a bit (and at the moment I understood this I felt like this could have worked) but I simply had never thought of it, probably because I considered her tabu since that friend was so hooked up on her even during their break-ups...
