*Sorry this has been a very bussy week.*
Today all of the money from our acounts went into a major buildup effort, this was done for two reasons:
1: This will really help the commerce through the kingdom.
2: Should any daring thief try to sneak into the royal pallace and steal our beloved savings he should find nothing, it has all been invested.
The commercial states have payed thier annual tribute as usual but the Berbers in an extremly selfconfident move declared war when they where requiered to pay thier annual tribute to the king of France.
I forsee that they wont last long whitout our help, even Spain should be able to finnish them off now ( )

Greece has settled down and is now being incorporated into the Ottoman Empire. Crete has been pacified and the locals seem to have resigned themselves to their new masters. Italians or Turks, it doesn't seem to matter much to the Cretans. Increasing trade with north Africa is not only adding wealth to the Sultan's treasury, but is also stimulating our engineers to consider better methods of sanitation. The Sublime Porte looks forward to the day when a better understanding of drainage and sewer systems will allow our towns to grow even larger. Those European infidels might also want to consider exchanging some of their knowledge for this advantage.

All is well in France although I do whish our English allies would make peace whit the Ottomans, they keep threatening about canceling our alliance if I don't get the king to declare war agains't the sultan...
Don't they see that supporting the Turks is weaking the Imperials?
Hopefully the English regent isn't a fool, I am leaving for an audience whit his emmisary right now.
