Assyria thanks the Greek leader for the congratulations for attaining the modern age. We are sure the rest of the world will follow suit very soon. Railroads pave the way for modernism.

The newspapers say there is war between the Russians and Zulu. However, our diplomats swear that both nations are at peace, militarily. Perhaps the Russian and Zulu leaders could help ease the tension in the minds of the rest of the world, who see this "peaceful war" as a sign of concern to the peace of the rest of the world.

Russia celebrates as the Czar Thor announced at a public gathering in Moscow that he would be supporting the communist movement (headed by Karl Marx) in Russia. He pointed out how the demands of the growing nation make it necessary for him to implement the communist system.

He appointed the first Chairman of Russia to be Joseph Stalin. An intelligent man with a great future ahead of him. Czar Thor continued to retain all power as he had done in the previous government, however, he had left decisions on everyday matters to his representatives once again.

Neither Stalin nor His Majesty, Czar Thor were available for comment.

"O! Great Czar, there have been reports of a greek landing party near the city of Smolensk and they come bearing great gifts of gold". The messenger fell on one knee as he approached the great Czar of Russia as he was confering with his right hand man, Chairman Stalin.
"Is that so? Are these the same Greeks that we have heard off so often about from our people?" , he spoke turning his head to look at the kneeling messenger, "you may rise".
"Thank you my lord... Indeed, they are the ones. They come on a mighty ship similar to the one we had dispatched many moons ago to find their land"

Czar Thor's face lit up with interest, "That is wonderful news! Stalin, " he spoke addressing the Chairman, "make preparations to leave for Smolensk immediately, I want you to go there and make certain that the Greek emissary is treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. He is my personal guest on his stay here. " and then he added as though as an after thought, " and should he wish to establish an embassy, provide him with your full co-operation. "

"Indeed I will sire," Stalin bowed his head in obeisance, "Also, I was informed yesterday that our diplomatic envoy made land fall in a remote part of Greece this very year. A pleasant coincidence no? " Stalin smiled, and then added "But how does you highness believe they will treat our ambassador to their land?"
Czar Thor nodded his head in agreement, "They will treat him well Stalin, They are a civilized and courteous people. I would be suprised if they did not show him the coutesy that we have showed their representative. "

Stalin once again bowed his head, "As you wish my lord, I will depart within the hour and send word of my progress once I reach Smolensk."

"Our diplomatic convoy departured from Russia yesterday and sailed to the misterious Zulu lands. They intent to meet Shaka, the legendary master of the warlike Zulus. Many believe that he does not even exist as no word has been ever heared from him. If he does exist we shall ask for the termination of the war between them and our friends the Russian.

Part of the convoy returned to Greece were they met the King. They spoke with admiration for the Russians and their exelent hospitality. They were treated equally and fair. They visited the famous London Exchange and got impressed from its wealth. Russia's entire economy rests on it. They found Communism an interesting type of goverment and its production output mighty. Although their cities are not many, most of them are large urban and industrial centers with great wealth and many people working in large factories. Their pollution output is also high, the greatest in the world, more than Athens itself. The only thing that displeased the diplomatic convoy were the slavery they met in the most urban areas. Greece condemn slavery and we hope that some day they will refrain from it and free their slaves.
Their science is a bit slow currently and that make us with the Assyrians the most technologically advanced civilizations in the world."
