Response to Germany
France is a sovereign nation, and if Germany want's to test their battle hardened soldiers in their "glorious" attacks on the worlds former free countries, then France is ready. Germany is a abomination of a democratic country, and should be helped and cured with an overthrow of their evil leadership.
" O God of Earth and Altar,
Bow down and hear our cry,
Our earthly rulers falter,
Our people drift and die.
The walls of gold entomb us,
The swords of scorn divide,
Take not thy thunder from us,
But take away our pride."
(G.K.Chesterton: English Hymnal)

An uneventful summer in Russia.
London, we have paid you back 350 gold! The rest will come during the next few turns, I expect.
Germans, we kindly ask you, please do not cause inconvenience for our railroad construction program. German freights are presently blocking the way and preventing our workers from doing their jobs in several places.
The siege of Bucharest and Stockholm is going well, and we expect to seize control of both these cities during the next three months. The russian troops looks forward to seizing the rich oilfields of Bucharest to the strengthened russian economy.
Turn passer on to Henriko...
BTW, Grothgar, on the next turn I think you can connect the russian possessions on the balkans, on your map. We are presently constructing a railroad between these possessions, and we expect to seize Bucharest shortly without losses.

New reforms starting to take effect today!
Italy is now a democratic nation!
The reforms that have been worked out during the latest few months, and which where prommised by our former emperor and newly elected President have finally taken place!
Yesterday the Republic of Italy was anounced and cheering citizens in all parts of Italy ran to vote for thier candidate.
The incredibly popular Henriko (formerly I) Lohmandero, was elected president with 75% of the votes.
The newly elected President earlier today held a long and exteremly gripping speach about the democratic rights of the people and the joys of this new economic system, adopted from the modell used by Brittain, Germany and Russia.
New elections will be held every 4 years!
To make sure that nobody without the peoples confidence may rule our great nation.
With the president was also, besides the people in his new cabinet, a Herr A. Günther Ikopfenstraal and a greek gentleman, whose name wasn't mentioned.
After his speech (which you can find in it's full length on page 18 of this paper) the president went to the opening ceremony held at the newly built Capitol in Rome, there the Brittish Ambassador, Lord Rodbert of Dwarfdale and the Russian Ambassador Boris Gotorptka held the red stripe as the german Ambassador Karl von Stoppenkopf handed President Henriko the scissors, Henriko then cut the stripe with the Rulers of the Ottoman empire and France standing beside him.
All of the ambassadors, as well as the French Premier and the Ottoman Sultan then held speeches in which they congratulated Italy on thier effort to become a free and democratic nation.
The first september has also been declared, a national holiday in Italy.
Enourmus econical growth is expected to be the result of these reforms (which you can read more about in specific on page 8) and economical analists has calculated that the BNP of Italy is going to quadrouple during the next few months...
This event was also special in the meaning that all major powers in europe was represented, only the Spanish ambassador was absent, aparently incapable of comming due to a cold he had aquired in the alps last week.
The President also in his opening speech, proclaimed, on behalf of the nation of Switzerland, that a congress will be held in the city of Geneva soon.
Nobody really knows what is to be discussed there, but the President assured everyone that the primary objective would be "Peace in our time"...

"Italy fully supports her ally and declare that it is against the international laws to start construction projects in the territory of other independent states!
We would think that Brittain and Russia would recognice this as it is also in their own interest to see to it that these international laws are followed!
A formal request will be sent to the Sultan or the construction work will be terminated"

Funny how something can be misunderstood... If the turks reads the russian report closely, they will see that the russian railroad project, was a project to join the russian possessions on the balkans, which naturally means a railroad connecting Bucharest with Serbia...
We have a difficult time understanding, that the woods of romania are supposed to be turkish territory, as we hear it from the turkish emissaries. We see no turkish troops there, and no turkish cities in this area.
However, we do consider a railroad project connecting Serbia with Greece a natural project for the future, to strenghten the already strong bonds between the british and russian democracies. But our engineers have not yet contemplated how to bring this about, and we're sure further funding and diplomatic arrangements are needed beforehand. But hence no immediate project, no immediate need for a diplomatic circus.
