Ribannah- I know that you're methodical, so I was wondering if there's any possibility of us including the evidence for these wonders so we don't create a list based on speculation and wishful thinking.
So far we have gathered evidence and proof of these wonders:
1. Pyramids (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filter...4261-52,00.html)
2. Great Wall (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filter...4261-53,00.html)
3. Collusus (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filter...4261-53,00.html)
4. Lighthouse (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filter...4261-53,00.html)
5. The Oracle (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filter...4261-51,00.html)
6. Sistine Chapel (http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filter...4261-47,00.html)
. Pentagon - This may or may not be a wonder (http://apolyton.net/civ3/images/vie...rev_33689_f.jpg)
. Trading Company - This may or may not be a wonder(http://gamespot.com/gamespot/filter...4261-47,00.html)
These are unconfirmed:
Great Canal
Hanging Gardens
Internet
Solar System
Great Library
Apollo Program
Copernicus' Oberservatory
Sun Tzu's War Academy
Manhattan Project
I have no idea about the Major/Minor Wonder factor here, which hasn't been discussed in a while, but it's something to keep in mind. I say first we establish the wonders then we'll worry about which ones are unique and which can be replicated.

Confirmation/evidence for SDI, Apollo, Manhattan Project, Grand Canal, Great Wall, the Internet:
Wonders of the World are as important as ever. We have all the Civ II ones, a couple of new ones, some that are old and function in new ways and a brand new set that we call "small wonders". While you can only construct one of each Wonder of the World, small wonders can be built by every civilisation, such as the Strategic Defence Initiative, Apollo programme and Manhattan Project.
...
The Great Canal is one of the new Wonders in the game. When you build that, you can choose a place on the map and connect two oceans, so it's like the Panama Canal. You can charge a fee for using it. We also have the Great Wall, which is an old Wonder, but now you can choose a section of your border and you get a wall that is really hard for someone to get through. We have another great Wonder, the Internet, but we're not sure exactly how that's going to function. We know it's got something to do with education, it will create a smart populace, but apart from that we're stumped.
