the usual out of context strategy that took MOBIUS 20 years to master.
News
The car that was hit was holding a wanted Islamic Jihad member, responsible for several terracts, the alst of them several mothns ago. Reportedly he was planning another terract in Petah Tikva (Tel-Aviv Suburb) and a soldier kidnapping.
Now it is reported that the kids were probably not in the car but near it. An analyst says that apparently they appeared near the car just before the missile hit, since, as he says, there were many assassinations cancelled or delayed, if civilians or children were visible in range of hit, in time.
Another person, wanted for the murder of an Isralei citizen that went on a shopping trip in the west bank, was arrested at nightfall by IDF. Special forces broke into his house and arrested him. He is now being interrogated. Probably by the Shin Bet.
Sidenote: One must wonder, how come arafat has such trouble finding and arresting activists? Our missiles and IDF find them easily, and we ahven't got one hundredth of the field agents ARafat has...
An assassination attempt on Gen. Zinni has failed today. A car planted with explosives had denotated on his route, 3 minutes before his car arrived. This happenned on his way to meet with Palestinian officials.
Israeli rescue forces will from now on be wearing hazard materials protection suits. The remains of the 3 explosions in Jerusalem show that the nuts and screws that were inserted into the bomb (as usually, to cause extra damage) were covered with poison. It is believed the terrorists may already have better chemical agents.
It is known that previous terracts in the Ben Yehuda civilian mall, in 97 (iirc), there were attempts to use chemical agents, when some, more lethal poison was inserted, but not applied correctly to cause infection.
It was exposed that Mofaz had ordered the homeland command forces to be ready to handle extreme situations of conflict by mid January. This comes together with the fact that several chemical exposure drills were held just last week, and the fact that from now on, rescue forces will wear bio-hazard suits.
It is suspected that Israeli top ranks have an idea about american plans to strike on IRAQ, and are expecting the worse, as reaction. Military and psychology analysts told Israeli newspapers that in the case of a real threat to Saddam's power, he won't hesitate to use everything he can including CBN weapons,

So say the US in connection with every bombing, it is so easy to claim.
Unofrtunately, since there are no statistics published, it is really hard to distinguish between lie and truth for a civilian. Peiople like SlowwHand believe what their media tells them, people like Infatuation quesiton everything that is popular knowledge. I question both sides, neither MOBIUS nor Eli or Infant, Sirotnikov, one of the mcan ever convicne me. Though Infatuation's points are at least critical, compared to the soft turd that SlowwHand tends to produce...

So exactly what are innocent children doing running in streets during a war next to a car of a known terrorist? Perhaps they weren't so innocent? Perhaps they weren't even children? Maybe they were off throwing rocks at soldiers? This is a war for god's sake, people die. If they don't want their children to die then perhaps they should sop strapping bombs to themselves. Perhaps they should move, oh wait they can't because the only skills they have to offer are terrorism and rock throwing, and no other country is in need of that.
As most people on Apolyton know I am certainly no lover of Israel, and would even consider myself anti-Israel,but I am starting to tire of the whining about Palestinians. They seem to be beggars for peace and compassion during the day, and the rock throwers and mad bmbers at night. Tough to love terrorists no matter who they are.
I certainly don't condone the killing of children or even civillians for that matter, but if we have such a conflict in America I sure as hell would keep my children safe at home not out playing in war torn streets with terrorists.

Because the USA supports Israel, and the USA has the loudest people in competition for public opinion. Those people have names like Tomahawk, Nighthawk, Pershing, etc. They are what makes their democracy so great. They and the fact that their great democracy doesn't find application when dealing with enemies of the democracy. Like helping them in reaching their goals, namely making democracy fail, would take them anywhere

uncalled for, but real... as for your first point, also nonsense... it just doesn't make sense. I say there is no need nor even the possibility to argue about the issue so we shouldn't, you say we should because we outh to practise... riiight

If someone's disgusted at Israels killings of children, then chances are they're disgusted by all child-killings. If you think someone who has grave concerns every time an Israeli attack goes wrong, killing innocents (which is far too often for anyone's liking, non?) thinks it's okay for the other side to kill children, then I can only assume you come to that conclusion by applying your horrible standards to me.

Now that's a response. The only issue I have with this is that I'm referring to the capture of Palesinian terrorists, and I think it's quite clear that Sharon doesn't mind the odd child-killing if it help prevents a future terrorists. But in comparison, I doubt Arafat really cares about capturing terrorists. Basically, they're both crap.
