According to gene marker studies the English and the French are not German.
The fellow who invented the musical notation system that has been used for the past 400 years shoulc be considered the person having the greatest influence on classical music. Does anyone know who that was?
Hitler didn't consider Jews to be Germans, so by extension he didn't consider Marx, Einstein or Freud to be German. Einstein was Swiss anyway. Did you ever notice that Germany never tried to annex Switzerland? Maybe they didn't want to tangle with the Swiss, who don't consider themselves to be German.

I beleive that the German contribution to the world is great too but not the greatest and surely not the supreme race.
There is no supreme race. Whether you call it Germans or Americans or Ethiopians they are all equals.
Only their contribution to the rest of the world differs to me.

All the greastest and most influencial Musicians were German, namly, Bach (the whole family), Beethoven and Motzart (he was german, right?). These guys are the most prominent (i think Hadyn and Handel to actually) musicians ever and also (IMO) the most talented. |
Motzart was an Austrian. Though Austrians are accually Germans they prefer to call themselves Austrians so Motzart was Austrian
BTW, music is overestimated in our days. It is not that important as you might think. Though without it would be quite difficult it would be worst without physics or mathematics etc.

Bismarck is considered to be one of the best diplomats in the last few centuries (hes set up a pretty intricate diplomatic position for germany i beleive until wilhel (sp) decided war was more fun - dont take my word on the bismnarck bit, bin a whil since i read about him and even then t'was a little breif). |
He might be one of the best but the rest are not Germans

Both Einstein & Freud were Hebrews. The fact they were born in Germany doesn't necessarily make them Germans.
Even if the one parent was German they get half the credit
And I think that Marx was Hebrew as well but not sure.

There is probably dozens of other great germans, |
I don't understand. If you are not a hundred percent sure how can you claim the superiority of an entire nation over the rest from 5-6 examples?

but even the above list is pretty impressive and i dont think there is any country in history (except Hellenistic Greece i think) that has given such a wealth of talent, be it in the Arts, the Sciences or anything else. |
I can add the Summerians, Egyptians, Babylonians, Indians, Chinese, Greeks, Romans/Italians, French, English and Russians, even the Americans and the Japanese regarding their contribution for the last century in the list or the Arabs for the muslim world.

Probably better than Bismark and perhaps the greatest political figure in 20th century.
