Guys, I am a bit busy these days as you might have already noticed from my lack of posts. I am holding some games that are near ending because they need much time to think and plan the right strategy so I apologize for that and I ask for a little more patience here

And now it’s time for the ”news” about myself, that I announced some months back.

Things have changed about my primary work and my ability to play, in fact those changes happened back in April, Easter-time to be correct.

In the start of January, I told my boss at my work (I was working as IT-manager at the fifth biggest businesscollege in Denmark), that I was quitting my job in about 3˝ month (in the middle of April) as I wanted to go “full time” at my families Nursery.

That was accepted (of course, I have had a great time at the college) and we had no problems to agree on the terms – I was allowed to have an active account for 1˝-2 months or so after I left and I am still allowed to use the college mail server – but for how much longer, well I am not sure now the new IT-manager has started….

Therefore:

I have activated the “Out of office” assistant, telling on Danish that I am not present.
As I am not sure exactly for how long more I can use my primary account ( max.reiff@lyngbyes.dk ), I have re-activated my old account ( max.reiff@get2net.dk ).

I guess I will have a new primary account ready within a week or so.

As for my ability to play…..

Well, full time work at a nursery in the high-season is working 12-16 hours a day, often starting at 03:00 in the morning to get to the market for fresh flowers, seeds – whatever people would like to buy and put into their gardens - with only a few moments during the morning/day to relax (read play). I am totally “dead” most of the evenings. Some days I do not have more than ˝-1 hour free - those days I have more than problems to play all my turns without too much delay. This will continue about 3-4 weeks more, thereafter the working day will turn more and more “normal” until autumn.

Result: I like the change! No more problems/task than you can handle, I do not awake in the middle of the night anymore, thinking sh.t!!!!!! I forgot…….

Though it sounds a bit harsh having to work for 12-16 hours as you mention things will turn better.
I hope they pay better

My wife was born in the mainhouse of the nusery a cold winterday in december 46 years ago and we have owned and run the place for five years now . A real wonderfull place.

We.... read mostly my wife - I have had my own job to do and only been giving a hand during my one month vacation, I have had every spring and in weekends.

ok my computer is acting up freezing up and locking up tight
i took it in to the techs and they could find nothing wrong with it. got home with it and it froze up at start up. techs will hopefully make a house call tomorrow. i will try to play my turns but if it gets to frustrating and i start feeling like i want to smash it with a baseball bat i will quit for the night before i do GRRRRRRRRRRR.........................

Remove all devices, example would be printers, scanners, network cables and modem cables. One at a time, start with the printer. Then get another mouse and keyboard if all the above does not work and test new stuff to see they are the culprit. Lastly try a new monitor.

The mere fact the techs found nothing points to a device they did not have, ie the above list.

im back online after over a full week.

funny. the reason for all the problems was that i tried to connect my laptop to my internet box. then nothing worked anymore. later i was told that connecting another PC to that box got my standard port closed.
... sheesh !

I appear not to be receiving emails. When I opened my outlook, my isp sent heaps of junk mail through, most of which was dated before I last logged in. No legit mail tho. Since then, I've only received junk.

I assume my isp has its settings backward

I'll give it a day, and if it's not rectified, I'll post a different email address.

Have I? Are you receiving emails from my address? If so, it may not be me, sobig fakes the from field of its emails. My isp has just been taken over by some incompetents, as far as I'm aware that's my only problem.
