The al Qaeda *******s being wiped out now have no place to go - they don't constitute an offensive threat unless they're ignored, and instead, we're sending them to hell.

The Taleban are right there. Their government was overthrown, most of the guys will be in east Afghanistan nowadays, together with the Al Qaeda guys there. Today I read a story about that Seal who fell from one of the attacked helicopters. Apparently he was dragged away by several al Qaeda guys and executed.

Members of the US military are praising the German KSK commandos. Apparently, our commandos are better than their own. Our government is stil ltrying to deny there actually are German commandos in Afhanistan, BTW

American commandos don't have the reputation to be best trained. At the contrary. UK commando (maybe german ?) have better reputation.

But they have surely the best equipment.

Of course all results are not about CIA and many results are linked to the same source.
Of course you can say that informations are not reliable. I'm agree that some are false or propaganda. But not all ...

I've obtained 245,000 results !! Of course France, Land of the Human Right, have tortured people since the middle-age, far before USA and CIA exist ...

If you mean the war involving the antt-taliban forces against remaining taliban, yes. But the poster I was responding to said that a civil war would be "a whole new ball game" ie more difficult than the war against the Taliban. I assume therefore he meant an outbreak of war among different afghan factions (other than the Taliban) convulsing the whole country.

There was a day or two of inter-warlord fighting in Paktia priovince, but that seems over with the appointment (by Karzai) of a governor acceptable to both sides. And that hardly convulsed the whole country.

There has been some violence between forces loyal to warlord Dostum, and warlord daud (?) atta, in the north. that also seems to have ended, with the creation of a joint security force.

Sweden it aint, but civil war is an exagerration for what is happening.
