I wonder how he had done this without the AI taking over his civ. maybe he left the game open and did nothing but pressing space/space/enter each turn.

Oddly enough I think he might have been "playing". He didn't build any cities and I thought he was doing that huts thing where you don't build a city. His "turns" were of variable length but he never used KC and called himself Empress of Death or some other idiotic thing. I think he might be a head case, seeing how long he could hide.

On the subject of Nev he is a bit slow, he's got a pretty poor connection and from Australia too... but he's not that bad a player.

I actually played it for 4 hours - I knew he was probably long gone but I was determined to find his settlers and destroy them - it was on a huge archipelagic world. In the end I must have had over 50 cav units and 15 or more boats scouring the planet

On the subject of Nev21, he did that to me once in a game, seems he wasn't there and did nothing,but somehow never disconnected. He had a few cities,when we all had like 20. To much beer there or something. Does anyone ever play on the zone anymore?
