HCE is right. Furthermore, I don't know about Europeans, but here in the states people generally don't mix tobacco with their weed.

As far as homemade bongs go, they're tons of fun, and cops generally don't care. The only paraphernalia charges I've gotten are with store bought pipes. If you make your own, they tend to just think it's experimental instead of a big thing.

Whenever I'm in a car and the driver is stoned, I tend to feel a lot better than when they're drunk. Some people probably wouldn't believe this, but stoned people are incredibly careful, they're some of the only people in America who respect the posted speed limits.

Once my boy Miguel was driving stoned around midnight in my hometown, and he ended up stopping at a green light. It was absolutely hilarious. But then again we were all really high.

Still, I'm not exactly trying to say that stoned drivers are better than sober. But they are better than drivers who refuse to pay attention to what's going on.

Tell me about it. When I was around 17, we just finished smoking one and then we left for the movies. When we got in the car, my friend didn't leave until EVERYONE got his seat bealt on. Like this:"Come on man, stop jerking off, put the bealt on man. I ain't leavin til y'all are properly locked in." I was like:" "
Anyway, you get my drift. People are a lot more careful when stone. When people are drunk and driving the're like:" Awwwww! Get off the sidewalk!!! Rahhhhh!!!"

"Why would you legalize Marijuana?"

So that my snack food store could do more business.

So that everyone could stay high and say, "cool dude".

So that presidents wouldn't have to lie about not inhaling.

So that we could teach the world to sing in perfect harmony.

Smoking Marie-Jeanne lower reaction time and alertness. But lot of driver have a low reaction time and alertness without smoking pot.

Since when you drink alcohol you fell like stronger, clever, better.
And it's false of course. So you're less carefull because you are the best driver !

What does tobacco have to do with it? You mix your pot with tobacco!?! Ew, gross. Except for blunts, I don't know anyone who does that.

Dude, just get a small pipe or some rolling papers, and smoke it straight.

BTW, I find that a little bit of brownies can go a long way.

If people want to use marijuana on a regular, daily basis to destroy their brain cells, all the more power to them.

But what about medicinal properties of marijuana.
Am I right or wrong with this -- has marijuana been proven in repeated studies to effectively treat different forms of cancer, and HIV/AIDS???

NOTE -- treat, not necessarily cure

If someone knows, please enlighten me on this.

This is sorta related to the topic, but...

A study released yesterday determined that heavy Marijuana usage (5 joints a week) results in a tempory drop of IQ of about 4 points. After a year, the IQ returns to normal.

It seems lots of the stuff going on about how it totally fries your brain are way overblown.

It helps people overcome the nausea associated with taking the drugs used to treat those conditions. So they get te munchies and eat instead of wasting away to nothing.

5 a week, not 35. I made a pretty bad typo. My cat walked across the keyboard and submitted it before I was done too.

This is from a resolution by the American Public health Association, in 1995:

Marijuana has been reported to be effective in:
a) reducing intraocular pressure in glaucoma
b) reducing nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy
c) stimulating the appetite for patients living with AIDS
d) controlling spasticity associated with spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis
e) decreasing the suffering from chronic pain
f) controlling seizures associated with seizure disorders

'Reported to be effective' and 'proven' are two different things, however. Still, I was already aware of the glaucoma and chemotherapy uses.

Smoking three to five joints a day is the equivalent of smoking two packs of cigarettes daily. It's very bad for you.

Dude, one time my best friend and I were getting stoned. Our other friend in the military was there, but he wasn't partaking, since he was getting a drug test when he got back. My bud and I are pleasantly backed, when all of a sudden the sober one throws a blanket over himself and starts rolling around on the floor, screaming "I'm a worm! I'm a worm!"

Then he bit me, which was rather a buzz kill.
