France will not agree to this proposal, simply because it's unrealistic. We support the use of diplomacy whenever possible, but will maintain the right to use millitary force if called for.

France thinks the League of Nations should be a sufficient forum to solve crisis in the future.

Due to considerations in the Motherland, we need to focus our energies on assimilating all of our territory under one rule in the Russian government. We have made a pact with all of the countries under our control, and we call it the Warsaw Pact.

France is commited to peace.

We only feel that Germanys proposition is unrealistic and will only be a so called "paper agreement". Why do we need this kind of agreement when we allready have established the League of Nations.

Allthough Russia have decided to step out of the League, France wish to maintain a good relationship with Russia. Russia should try to be a part of Europe, not move away from it. This is a sad develeopment indeed.

Thanks all. I've gruelingly read through the entire thread up to now and I've pieced most of the diplomacy together, and it is very fascinating indeed.

However, the new Secretary-General, Jordanas von Riechwehr, makes one of his first actions be to make the current situation in European diplomacy more organized. Therefore, he needs some clarification on four issues:

1) It seems all territorial disputes have been settled, is that correct? It looks as though France took what it wanted and now we are simply awaiting the British conquest of their half. Have the Italian concerns been ignored? What has the decision been on Spain? A border picture would be helpful, but you can just list cities and I can do it.

2) Although I agree with France that it is effectively useless, what is the current situation on the German proposal? Specifically, a list of those who have directly agreed to it.

3) Who are active members of the League of Nations, and who are not? I believe it is everyone but Russia, but domeone clarify.

4) I notice that I am in control of Libya. How was this aquired from the Turks, by payment? We obviously aren't at war.

Once I am better informed I can instruct the SG and changes can take place.

On another note, can someone simply post here all updated files that have come about since the original? I am operating with the original CivFan download and need these files to play here. A brief description of the changes would be helpful, but not necessary. Thanks.
