Blackice, being a moderator, BTW, is NOT my primary job. Read the title, my primary job is taking care of this ladder, and this is why I decide what goes, and what doesn't.
Well, if you can continue it the Gav's way, I'm more than happy. I really want to see the program written in about a week, now I got to shake some ppl and see if it's possible - otherwise it is time consuming, hence, hard to do.

Solver,
With all due respect: WHAT?
If I had all the time in the world I would love to help you write such a program but unfortunately I don't. I have file databases to build and maintain, tournaments and succession games to run, news to report, a computer to fix, articles and manuals to write, forum questions to answer, interview questions to come up with (and that's all just for CtP, I have a real life as well)...
I'd like to think modmaking is still my main activity here on Apolyton but I haven't gotten around to that in months... Heck, I don't even remember the name of my latest mod (Play the World or something? )... I *really* can't handle an even more work, there are plenty of other experienced programmers here who could help out. I wouldn't mind giving you some pointers but that's really all I can do...
But once the rankings are posted, I'll gladly make a news item about them of course...

Boys, I think it's time to drop out from the ratings.
First, but less important (for now) is the fact that the ratings are not updated as often as they should be. Before you flame me for that I know and respect the time needed to put up and having them up to date in a regular basis but I find no reason even for the existance of the ladder if there is no time to maintain. Again don't get me wrong, I don't blame anyone but it simply doesn't work.
Second, none of my rated games have been reported since September 2001, only "Happy Killers 2" but my position wasn't good there. You can blame me for not having reported them myself but among having an overloaded schedule in this forum most of the times I do not wish to add the ratings of 13 games in my back. I know, I was posting the rating on all the games I was moderating and playing once and was a great pain in the ass.
Third, having one and a half year of experience on the ratings and the problems that have arised we have done little to fix them. I do not agree with many aspects of the way the ratings work.
Unless we all do something about it consider me out.
If you intend to do something about it let me know.
I might be able to drop a couple of ideas.

Hmm, really? Crap .
OK, OK, I am taking this over, expect an update somewhere next week. I will be out of town tomorrow, and on Sunday I will spend the day finishing & testing the calculator. I wrote the base for it, so it basically works, but I'd better spend the whole day on it.
Then I'll do an update next week, but there's one thing I need. Tell me what results have been taking in account for the last update, and what haven't been, so I don't mess it up.
Now I'm not only the CtP MP boss, but also the workhorse .
What about Internet ratings?
