Well I suppose he was. He merely endorsed, participated in, and encouraged the use of slavery on an industrial scale which saw thousands of people worked to death in a handful of years. His grand schemes for Berlin were based on the assumption of using the same methods- massive use of slave labour.

His Nuremburg defence was that he didn't know about the Holocaust, even though he should have done. Interviewed for "The World at War" in 1972, he admitted this was untrue- he said he had deliberately closed his mind to it. In other words, he stuck his fingers in his ears and went "La, la, la, la, la, la I can't hear you!".

He was clever. Clever enough to get of being hung by lying. Now ask yourself- what makes anyone adopt the name of this bastard?

Albert Speer is about as high up you can go in the Nazi heirarchy with people still finding it relatively acceptable as a username adopted from a historical figure. Hitler, Himmler, Goering, Goebbels, Hess, Eichman, etc. are too infamous. At least Albert Speer has a reputation as being the "Good Nazi" or at least the most talented in science and engineering, not some rabble rouser like Hitler or Goebbels nor a simple warrior like Himmler or Goering. Albert Speer was the intelligent, not as known Nazi.

I have to disappoint those of you who think Hitler was stupid. He was highly intelligent (as confirmed by his school teachers). He was unable to control himself, this is a difference. He has studied very well how to seduce masses (he mostly used the time around 1924 to do so). He introduced many of the schemes of modern election campaigns. Also Le Pen is not stupid.
