Just a notification.

PBEM Tournment will start in a month and will include one on one, two on two and 4 players games all deathmatches, probably with time limit to have a resolution in 2-3 months the most.

So before taking over too many one on one challenges here perhaps you should consider leaving a couple of spots for the tournament.

File ctp_data\default\gamedata\const.txt RUINS_CHANCE_PER_BOX set to 0.0. Thanks JPWW. That worked good to eliminate all ruins on the map.

Now that you've created the map and started the game, you may consider turning ruins back on to encourage scouting in future games.

That's a good point jpww. Ruins add a nice touch to the game. It is a pity that the ruins add a bit too much luck to the game, in my opinion. Some ruin advances are too game swaying in many cases.

Nope, settlers. I simply conqered it from the Irish AI as I took their capitol.

Didn't take notice of it as I should have done (I have had it for 'round 7-8-9 turns now).

Normally I never build this wonder, that may be why I just played on as nothing important had happend.

Turn 67 QC2 to berXpert. Pretty much even.
Turn 15 QC3 to Birdman. Birdman is slightly ahead.
Turn 2 QC5 to Lung. Just started.

I got lucky Birdman. I took adavantage of your full on Spanish attack of the A/I Irish. While you were away killing the poor helpless Irish, the devious Americans struck! (I warned you not to mess with my Irish brothers ... Now look at you! )

We'll see what happens in our Challenge_3 TBM/Quinns. I have no river in that one and ruins are off limits ... not so lucky. Our C1 match isn't officially over yet, so I'm not counting my chickens until I cross that bridge.

As I have written before: Watch out for the rabbits dear Lung! First they are 2 - then 4 - then 30 then 130.

Quinns had the greatest medieval navy at the end of the game I have ever seen. And cavalry. And pikemen. And cannons .

Why... thanks Birdman and jpww and blackice!! But I am not the best IMHO. I might give some of the top internet players a run for their money. But I started to play Yoda using the same technique but he was ahead by about 3 or 4 turns by turn 40. He plays my style of game... but he does it better than I. I really don't like internet play... I CAN'T THINK THAT FAST!! LOLOLOLOL

Yoda is the Jedi MASTER! I think I might worry him in a PBEM game where I have time to think. I don't know how these guys do it... they must be a combination of fast mouse movers and great strategy kings and speed freaks!
