Should Egypt and the United States wish RPB's backing into warsaw, they should vote for an independent Greek. Canada, we're still waiting for your vote as well.
Mack the Pollack opens negotiations with canada for these new "hovering craft" which will increase the mobility of the already mobile and massive Military of RPB. As it stands, the RPB is first in all military aspects except airforce after the USSR, and is the most modern after Canada, and tied with the USSR.
RPB proposes an underground bunker like woodstock for the science expo, protecting it from all but nuclear strikes. Any country with rogue terrorist activity should freeze all nuclear movement putting an instant self-destruct mechanism, so their warheads will not harm other lands. Rogue terrorism will be dealt with by WAR on whichever nation RPB feels is the most responsible. RPB notes that should any territory be taken, it will become under the Bonschnooglian Doctrine's protection, and WILL not be returned in any Large sense of the world.
RPB would also like to note that should greece gain independence, it will be viewed as the religious capital of the world, and any occupation or attack upon that nation is an attack on all religion, and should be treated as such.

The Reality Police are on vacation.
Colonies on the moon? Hovering craft? We don't even have hovering craft now (assuming you don't mean helicopters). Largescale operations on Antartica?? BEER building up its forces larger than the USSR in the space of a few years? BEER's form of government that creates no war weariness, no corruption or unease in his vast empire, instant Armies everwhere, has both advantages of communism and democracy? Puh-leeze.
Samuel Johnson resigns as Iraq. He will collect his stories from this NES and adapt them into something that will be published and continued in another thread.

Juda turned over. "Honey, what's the matter?"
"It was like I was playing geo-politics with a one or two other adults and a bunch of 11 year olds."
"Oh."
Pause.
"Honey, you have met the new President of the United States, haven't you?"

Three bullets flew out from the top of a building ending it, and the Premeir's life. the officers who made it to the origin of the bullets found an American flag and a cartoon of Uncle Sam holding a burly canadian with an axe back from slaughtering an elk."The Newswoman's eyes searched the eyes of her collegues for hope, finding none she continued,"today is a sad day for all canadians. The new Premeir, a Mr. Chapel, vows to continue Ontarious's scientific focus but also take a hard line against the United States. He turns to our allies in Europe for help in these troubled times."
The blood wouldn't be cleaned up, he had been scrubbing for hours and the podium was as red as ever. Frustration, the likes of which could be found in any canadian's heart, brought him to his knees. The first tears went unnoticed, it was a full wail before he did notice it. Canada was mourning the loss of it's greatest leader.

"Remember, they started this war with their terrorists attacks. Also, we have reports that they have fired on us across the border. I trust you men know what to do." With those words the USSR began an invasion of Iran, a police action to fight terrorism.
The morning calm was broken by the explosions of cruise missles, paving the way for the mechanized monsters of the Red Army. Horrified Iranian border guards watched helplessly as an avalance of steel flowed across their border.

"The policies of appeasment have failed." Beria was again addressing a rabid crowd in Smolensk. His approval rating had been going through the ceiling. "We made the mistake of thinking that we could poke at a serpent, and it would stop biting us and behave. Many died for this mistake. Our beloved former Premier was himself victimized by these scoundrels. It is time to stop trying to embrace venomous serpents! It is time to take the hammer of the working class..." The factory workers roared their approval. "...And crush the snake's vile head! Today we have begun the process of dismantling this vile Jihad. We call on our Warsaw pact allies to aid us, in the interest of a free and safe world, where our precious children can grow up free from fear!" Beria left the podium to shake hands with the cheering throng. A messanger elbowed his way through the crowd to Beria, and handed him a note. Beria's smile faded, and he stopped the glad-handing.
The note reported the assassination of Canada's leader.
Shortly thereafter, Beria was on TV, speaking from the heart to the Soviet people. Tears flowed freely from his eyes as he expressed sorrow for the loss of "a great man." The sorrow faded from his face, replaced with resolve. "Clearly, we must redouble our efforts against the wicked terrorists, and the nations that act as their protectors!"

The USSR has invaded Iran, and has called on its allies to follow suit against Jihad nations. They are calling it a "police action against terrorism." There is no formal declaration of war.

Warsaw Pact nations are rapidly "closing the ring" in the middle east. A new program is playing on Soviet TV several times a day:
The Soviet News Presents "Meet your Leader, Part One."
Stirring martial music plays as a still image of Beria is shown from his Red Guard Graduation, in full uniform. A female narrator begins speaking, her voice overflowing with emotion. "Lavrenty Beria is our glorious leader, a man who has devoted his life solely to the welfare of Mother Russia and her territories. He is truly a hero in a world so sorely lacking in them." The music changes to the Soviet National Anthem. A montage of photos from Beria's NKVD days are shown. "But who is this man, really? Tonight we answer that question. Lavrenty Beria, devoted servant of our nation, but so much more."
Stills are shown of Beria defeating much larger opponents in a Judo competition. "A man's man, with the strength and courage of twenty men."
Beria is now shown in a posed picture with school children. He looks very fatherly, as the children look at him with awe and admiration. "But also a gentle man, who loves children and animals."
"A pious man, who places his trust in God." Beria is shown meeting with several Orthodox Priests, and then praying in a small peasant's church, common peasants on either side of him.
"A great leader, a forger of policy." Beria is shown with delegates, the UN in the background.
"But he never lost his connection to the common man." Beria is shown touring a factory, shaking hands with workers, and even trying out their assembly work himself, a hardhat balanced on his head.
"Lavrenty Beria is the hope of the Soviet Union, the one man who would not submit to terrorist threats." Stills are shown of terrorist attacks, accompanied by sad music. The camera focuses on the bodies of victims. The images become increasingly appalling and upsetting. Abruptly the sad music stops and the images fade, replaced by an image of Beria posing with a Red Guard unit. The Overture of 1812 plays loudly. "Your Leader, the world's leader, and the man who will insure a peaceful world for all. Truly the Soviet Union is blessed to have such a man."
Slow fade to black, as the Soviet National anthem softly plays.
