As a basic summary, the world is divided into two camps.

One is the Lima Pact, which includes me (Canada), Dalgetti (the Southern Federation), Godunov (Godunova) and LightEning (the Duchy of StrayLight).

On the other side is the Pact of All Pacts, which includes kassiopeia (Greater Finland), his loyal advisor Mercator (Greater Mongolia), the myriad vassals of Finland, History Guy (E.E.E.) and devilmunchkin (East Indies).

A third side is the Honolulu Pact, consisting of Richelieu and Tungsten, (north & south pacific) who are generally friendly with the Lima Pact.

There is also Eli's Israel, which, like in real life, is somewhat alone, but seems to be, so far, opposed to the Finns.

What you can do now, is either take an unclaimed area (mostly islands now), or you can apply to become a vassal of either side.

Tsar Boris the Great finds President Guynemer's suggestion intriguing. And Boris has always been a huge fan of ecological conservation.

Very well, in addition to the Lima Pact, Godunova hereby enters into a Mutual Protection Pact with Alaska. Said pact is not at all binding on the other members of the Lima Pact and is unrelated to it.

Godunova hereby declares that should any state seek war with Alaska, they consequently will have war with Godunova, and her mighty armies will crush any who do such a foolish thing.
