Hell yeah, I went to one and I'm okay most of the time
No - they need little girls in their life too

Segregating students by sex is simply outdated. Archaic.

Sounds like most people in public school, provided they had any brains at all.

A close friend of mine has a brother who was sent away to a Naval Boarding School for boys. The school was called "Admiral Farragut's School for Boys". I'll give you one guess as to his sexual orientation. Damn the Torpedoes indeed.

There you go again Dr. Asher with the BS. I never complained at all. I posted information from proffessionals in the field who cite this problem and gave ample information to show what is going on. The only reason you have never heard about it before you is have this problem with the word "gender" or can not read.

You did not read any of the information yet make another completely false statement "don't know of anyone" I posted ample information to show what is going on. Are you just that freaked about "gender" that even 9 experts in the field and the grants and laws all the information posted you just wish it would disappear?

It is there in black and white Dr. Asher it would appear one day you will have to get a grip on reality. It the mean time stop with the non-sense. You are the only one that can not grasp it.

Amazing tripe and denial...

Or maybe it should have been updated for the future.
If in fact it is a hardwire problem then it is one of the best choices. Other than that you simply short change your kids.

The experts can not agree on the hardwire issue. But they all agree everyone of them Dr. Asher that boys and girls learn differently. They all agree boys are being short changed in public schools.

You should read about the topic before having an "opinion". "Opinions" without fact or knowledge are a total waste of time as you proved once again.

Gender differences exsist Dr. Asher you are going to have to one day deal with that fact of life. Until then you will just remain as confussed and in denial as you are today.

You have the balls to say I'm in denial?

And you keep saying I haven't read it. I didn't read the original link you linked to since all you linked to was the stupid roundtable discussion from a bunch of women who were hardly experts on the matter. Then I saw for some reason you linked to that page because it linked to another page that had someone qualified talking about it.

I read what he had to say, and I'm sure it's true for many schools, but I don't see how he can say it's true for most schools -- particularly when anecdotal evidence points in other directions and I know of no one who complains about such trivial things other than people like you.

And yes, you were complaining. How else do you explain 50 posts ranting about how boys aren't being taught like they should? It's complaining, blackice.

"Amazing tripe and denial" indeed.

You should keep in mind, blackice, that just because one or two "experts" say things doesn't mean they're true in all, or even most cases...

You are in denial you take the same stance on every single "gender" issue posted. Now what are the odds of every single "gender" issue being as you make them out to believe. Dismissing every single "gender" issue.

You are in denial Dr. Asher you need to come to grips with your hang up.

And yet it was not and you admitted it was not more lies more deniial.

Simple you do not know you are guessing, worse still guessing many professionals in the field who all agree on the same thing. You
are the only one with your "opinion". Trivial you are not interested in something some one else is so it becomes "trivial".
Grow up. Look Dr. Asher you are in denial, you have problems with "gender" issues. You can not see reality about "gender" issues, that does not make "gender" issues trivial it makes your "opinions" trivial, ill informed and pure non-sense.

Posting information on the issue is not complaining that is completely stupid. It just shows your lack of experience with being a man and with "gender" issues all together.

I thought you said you read what was posted? more lies I see. How many experts ALL agreed again Dr. Asher? you do need help when your inept arguements about a topic that is alien to you fail you resort to lies and immature content. I have volumes of it. Grow up Dr. Asher. You hate when I say that do something about it.

Or I'll email all this to your mom.

My hangup?! MY HANGUP?

You're a funny, funny man, blackice. Stick to comedy, and not to debates...

Okay, I can tell this is hard for you. So let's go slowly.
The article you linked to was a bunch of comments from website visitors only on ParentSoup.com, which is mostly filled with soccer moms as visitors. You never actually linked to the discussion with someone who was actually qualified, I found that myself on the site.
So I did not read the soccer mom comments you linked to, I read the doctor's stuff instead.

quote:
Simple you do not know you are guessing

And you're so arrogant to pretend to know everything on the issue? You think the doctor is arrogant to know what it's like in all, even MOST, schools? They're just guessing too!

quote:

You really think I'm the only one with my opinion?
Why don't you compare how many people attend co-ed public schools versus boys' schools...I think you'll find you're being a bit stupid.

Grow up. Look Dr. Asher you are in denial, you have problems with "gender" issues.

I can't believe YOU are saying this...

Complaining about how boys are being neglected in favor of how girls' learn in schooling is COMPLAINING, blackice. Deal with it, you're a whiner with female issues. And you tell me I'm in denial...

Give me a quantitative number of all experts who agree, and all experts who disagree. What? You can't do that? What are you saying?! Are you saying that you've linked to a couple experts who all share the same opinion? Well god damn, it must be true for every case in the world!

First off I saw no mention of "soccer-moms" That is lie number one. Second I would read from men yes men Dr. Asher men post there too, that alone says volumes about you, than believe or listen to anything a boy with no kids, and a gender issue hang up, living at home with mom and dad had to say. Was that slow enough for you Dr. Asher. You did read it yet you said you did not read it go back a thread, oh I forgot you edit your post's as to not look so inept. I have a copy of it if you like i learned to save your non-sense when I first noticed you did that. Kids...

quote:

Unlike you I do not pretend I live it, read it breath it. I don't make it up as I go along. Unlike you I have no "gender" issues I just see the reality in front of me not denial as you do so very well. Experience Dr. Asher lots of it you little man?

No Dr. Asher they are not the only reason, it says most because some schools in thier national reports do not include a gender break drown. Very few do this but they could not say all schools honestly.

Unlike you they present their facts with honestly and reseach. That again shows how little you know about the topic. Stop being so arrogent and pretenting you know anything about the "gender" issues. You are in denial about them first off and second it obviously scares the hell out of you when it is brought up. Why else would you not read it then have a negative "opinion" about what you did not even read?

quote:
You really think I'm the only one with my opinion?

Not at all just the only one with inept ones, clueless ones, ill informed ones, paranoid ones not much in other words...etc.

quote:
Why don't you compare how many people attend co-ed public schools versus boys' schools...I think you'll find you're being a bit stupid.

That whole comment was stupid...

quote:
I can't believe YOU are saying this

Of course you can't your in denial that is all to clear.

quote:
Complaining about how boys are being neglected in favor of how girls' learn in schooling is COMPLAINING, blackice. Deal with it, you're a whiner with female issues. And you tell me I'm in denial...

Complaining is a lie...Whinning is a lie. this is just your childish way of showing you complete lack of knowledge of the issues and your denial of "gender" issues. Pointing out the facts Dr. Asher is just that. Only to a little boy in mom's house can it be anything else.

quote:
Give me a quantitative number of all experts who agree, and all experts who disagree.

I'll just point out here that you obviously don't know and lied about it when you posted on it.

quote:
Are you saying that you've linked to a couple experts who all share the same opinion? Well god damn, it must be true for every case in the world!

This just qualifies the fact you read nothing and are talking out of your ass again. On top of that it reinforces the facts you simply have no clue.

quote:
The irony is killing me...really, it is

I thought you would see that as funny
