A young man was discovered near a Canadian city. He was brougt in for investigation. It showed to be the son of the former ruler of Phoenicia, Hamilcar - son of Hannibal. He has asked for permission to join the advanced academy of monks in the mountains.
Hamilcar issued this statement:
Message to all loyal phoenicians. I - Hamilcar, son of Hannibal - is still alive. One day, I'll will return and bring back democracy to my people. But first I have to meditate and educate myself, to make me worthy to the respect of the phoenician people.
I know, that my father didn't make suicide. He has not shot himself as Hasdubal has announced. Hannibal has always had a healthy mind and have never owned for even touched a gun. He was a man of wise words and noble deeds.
Shame will come to the head of Hasdubal. I know for sure, that the dictator Hasdrubal will bring sorrow to your homes. He wants war and that has always been so.

Yes Peter is still alive and living in the monastary. He is very old and feeble and his health is slowly declining. Yet he is an inspiration to all the young monks and he blesses them daily with his words of wisdom.
Young Hamilcar is taking shelter in this ancient monastary. The monks are taking care of him by providing food and clothing. He tells them that someday he hopes to return home and bring peace and happiness to his troubled people.

Hamilcar gave this message to the Monks who passed it on to Canadian authorities.
It reads:
I plead to the people of Phoenicia to be patient, to be strong in this time of turmoil. Understand that Hasdrubal cannot last, his reign will soon come to an end. When this happens then I will lead you to peace and understanding. Harmony and love will replace death and destruction. Look deep into your souls and find the strength to endure his evil ways. We will get past this.
In other news:
Canadian Scientist's warned that coupled with the chemical explosion in Egypt. The Spanish/Phoenician situation could lead to high levels of pollution in the atmosphere. Scientist's say that if nuclear weapons are released in this conflict, the effects on our world could be catastrophic.
